.. being an anglophile. Oasis is a great band to include. Rock 'N' Roll Star, Supersonic, Hindu Times, etc... Any of those songs would be great. Radiohead needs to be in there somewhere. Paranoid Android would be amazing to play. The song 'Just' from Radiohead's album The Bends would be another killer track. If we are preserving Rock with this game then the Stone Roses have to be included. I Wanna Be Adored would be awesome, or maybe She Bangs the Drums. This could take forever. I better just formulate a setlist of 15 songs I would want to cover (in order).
*Note.. All bands are not British in this list. I was thinking of transitions and songs I would actually want to play in a set.*

1. David Bowie - It Ain't Easy ( From the Album Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars)
2. Oasis - Cigarettes and Alcohol (From the album Definitely Maybe)
3. Beatles - Taxman (from the album Rubber Soul)
4. Rolling Stones - The Last Time (from the album Out of Our Heads)
5. T. Rex - Life is a Gas (from the album Electric Warrior a.k.a the best album cover ever)
6. Radiohead - Wolves at the Door (from the album Hail to the Theif)
7. Pink Floyd - The Nile Song (from the album Relics)
8. The Doors - People Are Strange (from the album Strange Days)
9. Love - Alone Again Or (from the album Forever Changes)
10. The Shins - Kissing the Lipless (from the album Chutes Too Narrow)
11. Brendan Benson - Cold Hands (Warm Hands) (from the album Alternative to Love)
12. Badfinger - Name of the Game (from the album Straight Up)
13. The Stone Roses - I Wanna Be Adored (from the album The Stone Roses))
14. Artic Monkeys - Bigger Boys and Stolen Sweethearts (from the single I bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor)
15. Interpol - Obsticle 2 (from the album Turn on the Bright Lights)

Well aware :)
I wanted to add those two American acts because I love them and they are heavily british influenced. The Shins hail from New Mexico and Interpol reside in NYC. I actually met Interpol in London. That was a strange day. I also ran into the Flaming Lips at a Postal Service show during the same trip. The Doors, Love, and Brendan Benson also are not British. The Doors and Love hailed from LA and Brendan is from Michigan.

I actually wanted to add some Man, the Move, and stuff like that too, but I didn't want to be too esoteric. I would absolutely flip if they would make Younger than Yesterday available as a download album(the Byrds). Just getting to play and sing those songs would be great.

The best Interpol choice, in my opinion, would be 'Slow Hands'. One of the BEST songs ever written, if you ask me.

You should change the David Bowie song to Moonage Daydream, Lady Stardust, Soul Love, or anything else from Ziggy Stardust.

Pretty good list though. All the songs are tolerable-good.

lol, well, ok then British/Irish bands. Techinically its part of the geographic British isles......and I also might be living before the 1920s........when Ireland was part of Great Britain :D

It could also be just a short memory lapse on my part as well.......
