Xbox Wont recognize Wirelss Guitar

I just bought the Wireless RB guitar. I put the batteries in, pushed the connect button the green light just flashes. Doesnt turn on the Xbox or anything. Then I tried the little white button when there wire would be, the light just circles the "4" different player points and nothing. Any ideas on whats wrong?

You have to sync the guitar to your 360 first. Follow the instructions on how to do this in your manual.

Also if you already have four controllers connected it won't work, just in case...
four is the maximum, you would have to disconnect one.
