Ok this is a rumor & nothing confirmed so I thought I would come here to find a official answer.

A friend who works in the game industry told me that a unofficial word had leaked out that Rock Band may not come out in the UK or anywhere other then the US until Q4 08 & that even a rumor is going that it may never be released outside the US (& maybe Canada):eek: .

After I had finished going ape he then followed to say that the a US copy of RB would not work on our (UK) 360 but a PS3 one would (I mean WTF I'm not going to buy a Play'****'Station 3 just for one game hell I wouldn't get one for ten games):mad: .

I need to know if any of this is true as if so I'm going to have to buy a US 360 & end up importing all my games. HMX plz answer this & let there be no truth to it :confused:

I sincerely doubt that that first rumour is true. It's been confirmed that it's coming out for us in the UK in Q1, unless something goes wrong and it has to be delayed.

It's pretty likely that it will work fine on the PS3, but downloading songs may be a problem. But it's not known yet if it will work alright on the 360 if bought from America, depends if they decide to region-lock it.

I dunno your mate's sources, but this smells like something and it certainly ain't fresh parsly and rosemary. The last rumor in particular has to be clear ignorance or trolling, I'd say.

Rubbish. The income potential for this game is immense and as such is bound to make an appearance outside the US. Sooner rather than later hopefully.

I wouldn't worry there is no way this is true, at the latest I would say this game comes to the UK Q1 2008. There is no way it takes an entire year, that wouldn't make sense.
