True. I've heard people on these forums say I hate those DLC songs and I don't know of anyone that would like them but to make my list complete I will purchase them all (or something along those lines..).

Good point but I was speaking more on the lines of not being allowed to speak negatively about Rock band.

And this concept that Activision cannot do anything right and Harmonix cannot do anything wrong.


I mean- whether you like Guitar Hero or not, the drums they have designed are kick ass.

And now that they have announced them to have cymbals, you'll notice that there's an aftermarket kit coming for Rock Band with cymbals. Everyone yelled at Activision for "copying Rock band" but man I didn't see one post calling the "Mad catz" drums rip-offs of Activision's idea.


Moreover, the idea of wireless drums is a great idea.
The fact is, in this day and age, it actually costs more to have wires on these type of products than it does to be wireless.

I don't understand how people can be so vehemently for or against either game considering how similar the games are. The selection of songs differs and so does the charting, but in RB you have simpler charts with tighter windows, and in GH3 you have harder charts with more generous windows.

I have both, play both, and enjoy the hell out of both. Why take sides, buy both and enjoy what each has to offer. That being said, I'm not an Aerosmith fan, in the least, and thought that that was a dubious decision to center a game directed primarily to 15-30 year olds around that band.

but activision did help make the best guitar hero (guitar hero 2) and they might have hated guitar hero 1
