Is there a possibility World Tour Band Mode online will be patched into the game at a later time? I really want to get this game over GH3 but I doubt I could friends to play this game long enough to really get anywhere in it. Solo Tour mode is alright I suppose but the whole point of this game was to play a band. So do you think it could be patched into this game? I really want to justify spending 170$ on this game.

There are already plenty of topics discussing this.

Highly highly doubt it. Its technically possible, but it would require alot more time for the devs and I'm sure they want to take a big nap after its released. Its ashame it's not in the game, but its still gonna kick ass.

No, get over it.
If this really makes you re-think buying the game, idk what to say. we didn't even know about this a few months ago.

Possible, probably. Likely, probably not.
I'd be content if they just patched it to allow single players to play the WBT. I mean, they created this awesome mode and quite honestly, the majority of the people won't be able to make significant progress in it. (I'm excluding singing/guitar... Bakkster. :P)

Yea the people saying "do vocals and guitar"
No, i don't want to. I don't see why we can't just have it single-player. Makes no sense to me.

I see where they are coming from with the band experience. World BAND Tour. I guess they wanna stress that its a band mode. I dunno.

Yea, but one person could just control every member of the band (in terms of look etc...)
Idk, it's not that I won't get a bunch of people to play with, but I want to be able to enjoy it when those people aren't around.

Idk, I still think this is a game that I would probably almost never play singleplayer...I rarely even played guitar hero by myself...it's really a party game, so I'm not too torn up about this.
And I don't think it needs to be able to be done online either...unless you have a buddy that lives far away, but still...most people should probably have enough friends to play this game :P

I know I really want that too. I guess they put the solo career there for people like us. Maybe it will be more rewarding to have friends play. I got my girl and my dad that wants to play so i'm good. I don't need a singer.

I've only played GH a handful of times in a group setting. I don't know you, but I'll bet you are still in some type of school. Once you're married and working full-time, you'll find it a lot harder to get a group of buddies over to play video games. Believe me. Online would be nice.

Most of the Topics Talking about this are just people complaining. I remember reading somewhere they might patch it into the game later. I was just curious if this was possible or not.

As much as I would love it to get patched I would say the chances of this big of a feature patch coming in the future is like 0.5%.

Yup... unless they are ALMOST there in terms of development (who knows how far they got).

Yeah, there's a few other threads on this. Basically, BWT is not online, but quick play and competition modes are.

Dude exactly! What the hell is so hard about making BWT single player?! Everyone pray for single player patch (definitely seems most likely).

It blows my mind that so many are complaining about this.
I mean right from the start I was thinking this is gonna be a great multi-player game.
Was anyone really looking at this and thinking..Wow Rock Band is gonna have 4 different instruments in it, it's gonna make a great game to play alone.
There is a solo mode to play yourself and a WBT mode to play with something resembling a band. Do what real bands do. Put an ad in the classifieds.
