when you pre order does it mean that you pay for the item and they ship it to you the day it comes out?

I think most places you pre-order from will ship on the ship date, and it wont charge you until it is going to be shipped.

if you preorder online then it determines on what kind of shipping you get, to have it come the first day. If you want it the first day online then you choose overnight shipping. If you preorder from a store then you can go pick it up the day it comes out.

If you preorder the bundle online, the retailer will not charge your credit card until it ships, but your credit card will be authorized for the full amount to make sure that you have sufficient funds to cover the purchase. After a few days the authorization will be removed and the amount will be placed back on your credit card until it is ready to ship. I hope this helps!

Amazon is great, I order all kind of products from them, and I've never been disappointed. I recently preordered 2 items from them. I used the free shipping and got one item the day after release, and the 2nd item 2 days after release. For precautionary action, I decided to pay the standard shipping rate (3-5 day) so I'm assuming I'll get it the day after the 20th aka the 21st.
