hi guys i want to buy both guitar hero 3 and rock band but i want to know if i will be able to run the controller on rockband ( the one of guitar hero ) or if i will be able to play guitar hero 3 with the rock band controller !!!!

No one knows for sure yet. It hasn't been reported on. No one has really given a straight answer when asked. More than likely the Rock Band guitar will work for GH III and the GH III guitar will work for Rock Band, but nothing is confirmed yet.

HMX stated that the GHII will be compatible, but it is not known yet if the LP will be usable, like the paska stated above. HMX all says that they have an open controller port so 3rd party suppliers would in theory work, but it won't be known till it actucally is realeased unfoutunatly.

The strat is only being wireless for the PS3 as of now, until rumored 2008 when the instruments are being released separately
