Having Trouble with Rock Band for the Wii

I kind of lost the manual for the guitar. Could someone please explain to me how to connect the Wii Rock Band Guitar into the game? Thanks.

-Put Batteries in the guitar, 3 AA
-Make Sure the Guitar is on [there is a switch on the back of it, make sure it is on the 'on' side]
-Plug dongle in USB HUB
-Press small button on the dongle
-Press blue button guitar, then press small button [its next to the blue on].
Should be ready

What about an extra (2nd one) guitar?? We just purchased the package today and bought a 2nd guitar. Everthing works fine except the additional one. What are we doing wrong? We have tried to synch them and all that but.... Really not sure what we are doing here. Any help will be appreciated.
