View Full Version : Strange question I'm sure (drum charts)

I was wondering if anyone, off the top of their head could think of songs without a yellow drum/hi-hat being heavily used.

Mainly, because my yellow drum crapped out, and I'm not covered by the 60 day warranty any more and I just want to play a little until I get money for a new set. I'm aware I could just take it into practice mode, but it's not quite the same for me.

I have all the DLC, but the only songs that immediately come to mind are 29 Fingers and Wonderwall, anyone know of anything else?

Well thats not going to be easy since most songs have lots of hi-hat. I don't really know that you can play at all without a working yellow pad.

You'd actually be surprised lol, I can make it through most songs without failing, and there are a good few I can still 4*, but I'm looking for something where it wouldn't just be absolutely noticable that all my yellow notes were dropping.

I would suppose I could just do a mod to get one hi-hat and mount that on my drums and use it in place of the yellow since in most cases it IS a hi-hat in the game

Off the top of my head:

The Hand that Feeds
Orange Crush
Run to the Hills (not that I advise you to actually play it)
Outside (what I've seen before I failed about a third of the way in)
I Get By (same as above, but 4% :().

Those are the only ones I can think of where you might actually be able to pass without a yellow pad if you're really really good.

Outside uses red for hi hat doesn't it?

All of the ones I listed to. Coincidentally, they're also the songs that I'm almost guaranteed to fail.

Wow, oddly enough not a single one of those songs came to mind with the exception of Run To The Hills which I wasn't even going to bother with. I've beaten it on expert like once, and don't plan on ever doing so again.

But I would imagine I should be able to get through most of that, probably not I get By though...that part always confuses me. But thank you because I never would've considered most of those songs

Play lefty mode. :p

Also, depending on what's wrong with your yellow pad, perhaps you can switch it with the blue pad?

Truckin comes to mind as well, being mostly red + blue (on hard at least)

That's true.

If only it weren't such a pain to play. Boy, I hate that song.
