Amazon... What the hell...

Now, I've pre-ordered the game through GameStop (who are apparently randomly telling people that it's Nintendo's Rock Band)...

However, I was looking on amazon.com and took a peek over at the Rock Band Special Editions only to discover that rather than the approved, announced price $169.99, they have it listed as the much speculated, much higher $199.99.

Now, obviously, Harmonix HAS announced the $169.99 price, and that's final. However, amazon.com DID have it listed as such before, so why the change?

I'm trying to look out for my fellow ROCK-BAND-MATES here...

Also... the PS2 version... is still listed as $159.99...

Color (colour) me confused.

I don't think they are mistaken, they were the first people the change their price to $169.99, I pre-ordered from them at that price, I think the story goes that:

Amazon ran out of pre-orders of their own so I believe that Target is now selling through amazon, which is why there is an increase in price.

hmmm.....i have it preordered from amazon, looks like ill have to do some investigating. Hopefully they have just forgotten to change it.

WHen Amazon stops taking orders, it defaults to one of their other licensed vendors... notice on Rock Band it says SOLD BY TARGET.COM, as opposed to AMAZON.COM

No its not :p Max 4 days with free shipping, just get the standard shipping and you'll be good. They are good with preorders too, shipping the day after or two (with free shipping, so standard will be a bit quicker)

I did the quickest they had, and they had a delivery date of Nov. 26th.
