Sorry if it's been posted before, but I was watching the GI video since it was brought up again and noticed the Binding Bonus at the end of the Ok Go song, supposed to be like drum fill for guitar. The thing is, your supposed to hit certain things at certain parts with the tapping buttons at the bottom, but how do you know what to hit since it looks like they try to guide you along, I mean it was supposed to be free-form I gathered. Thoughts or am I an idiot :D

It's an Ending Bonus. It's with the fill for the instruments, and then usually there's a few simultaneous chords after the bonus. If everyone nails those chords after the freeform ending fill, then you get the ending bonus points. if not, well, then you get zero ending bonus.

Ok that's mostly what I thought, but is there a penalty for not hitting the things they want you to (looks like sections glow, and you have to play notes in those sections until others light up). I really hope there isn't a penalty because I'm going 2 hands on those ending sections and **** could go crazy :p Btw, like your new picture bro

Yeah miss anything after the freeform and you're screwed. As it should be.

Freeform is called that for a reason. They don't tell you what to hit, it's showing you what you are hitting.

But afterwards the final few chords or whatever ending the song must be hit to get the acquired points in freeform.

Yeah, but that's not freeform, now is it? :P

So, if anyone else is still confused about it, it goes down like this:

You get to the fill section
You play whatever notes you want
Afterwards, there will be more notes/chords
If you don't hit those, you lose all of your bonus points
If you hit those, you get all of your bonus points.

Any questions?

Oh I see! It was because the douche in the video was hitting them, I thought he was hitting them because they were lighting up, but he was the one lighting them! Haha, I'm dumb :D Sucks that you can mess up a sweet freeform with a stupid green you didn't time right at the end.

That's everything I just said.

No, he was still confused on the freeform, thinking the game was telling you what to play by lighting the fretboard up on what button. You clarified nothing about that. Maybe you should put what the freeform sections and ending bonus things are in the Survival Guide.
