How Tough Can It Be: Guitar Hero

In San Antonio the local news station WOAI runs a frequent sports segment called How Tough Can It Be where the two main sportscasters humiliate themselves by trying out sports-related exercises which range from trying to kick field goals or 3-point shots to more sillier things like trying to breakdance like some athletes.

Back in July they actually tried out playing Guitar Hero! Note that one of them's using the 'I've never played this before' ruse. You know it's a slow sports day when you see two middle-aged sportscasters try out a non-sports related videogame and try to look cool with embarrassing results.

Heh... I have this one friend claimed she had never tried GH before, but by the end of the day, she was playing through songs on Hard and even Expert, so we found her claim a mite hard to believe.

Still, she can play the guitar pretty well (she did just before trying GH at our place)...

If you play guitar, it shouldn't be too hard to catch onto GH, as long as you have video game experience.

But that dude failed on Easy? And said his fingers were hurting?? Jeez, that was pretty painful to watch.

I don't play guitar, and the first time I got GH, I tried it out on Easy too. But I was 5-starring every song with ease, almost FCing them. Went onto Medium, and within 2 days I was already playing on Hard.

I dunno, I guess some people just don't have rhythm or coordination. I understand there's people who enjoy Medium, and play on Hard for a challenge. But to fail on Easy?

Haha...fully! I brought it to a friends when it first came out. He played war pigs on easy and at one part was like: "I can't do this"!! It was hilarious...but yeah, some people just don't have the coordination, that's cool. Just glad I'm not one of them.:D
