It seems like there aren't many people who use the 'rate this thread' function for anything other than flaming or self-promotion. Does anybody realize that there are actually FIVE ratings that you can assign a thread? YES, YOU HEARD ME :) ...FIVE! You are restricted to either 5 stars or 1 star... there's 2 stars.... and 3 stars...... and 4 stars as well!
Just saying. Not every thread is 'awesome' or 'awful'...
Also, the rating system is a majority vote... so if you think a thread is an okay 3 star, but someone else has already given it a 5 star rating, there's no need to 1 star it to get it back to three.
Maybe I'm just weird to actually use the rating system, but if I'm gunna use it I figure I should use it correctly.
Anybody???

I will rate this thread a 3 :)
I use it sometimes. But usually just if I like the thread enough to give it a 4 or 5.

I do. I rate it a 1 or a 2 if I don't like it, and to what extent. I rate 3 if it's in the middle. I rate a 4 or 5 if I do like it, and to what extent.
Wurd out.
