Will we be able to join up with three friends "Online" and play the quickplay stuff, and have us in a constant band. Much like the Gangs in saints row or clans in halo 2.

Also will the drums set be ajustable with hight, i'm very tall and dont want me knee hitting it :)

And what is the drum sets material, plastic, metale etc etc.... thx

To answer your questions off the top of my head (meaning don't trust a word I say :p)

1) You can quickplay online, and I'm pretty sure online bands were confirmed.

2) Yes, the legs of the drums are telescopic, so trusting you're not playing professional hoops, you should be fine.

3) The pads seem to be made out of plastic from what I can gather, but I have yet to play on them myself.

Hope something I said turns out right :)

another note on the drum configuration, if they're still too short, or too tall, or whatever, the pad assembly itself comes off and can sit on a table, so you're not stuck with only using the stand it comes with.

So is this basically confirmed? Because even though I guess I'm kind of okay with world tour mode only being offline with at least two people, I still want to make a band with a couple of my XBL buddies for quickplay.

I've seen nothing confirmed recently about any sort of online bandmaking options. And by that, I mean making a band name that the game or XBox Live will keep track of. Early on they'd talk about it, but that may have been in the days when they thought they could fit World Tour online. Right now I think online quickplay is probably going to be pretty standard. If you want to start a band/clan, I think you're going to have to keep track of that outside of the game itself. Scorehero.com is going to be supporting Rock Band, so maybe we'll see something there to keep track of how your "Band" is doing online and to catalog top scores.

Ah... that sort of sucks if it didn't. It's not so much that I can't keep track of it on my own, it's just that I wanted to see my band name/logo in the background while playing online.

I strongly strongly doubt that will be available online.

Hope is not recommended. First, how would it decide which band logo it used between the four people involved? The leader's, possibly. Now, how in an ESRB controlled world where soccer moms get titles pulled off the shelves in moral outrage do they prevent someone from showing off a band logo that looks like a giant dingdong?

There's a lot of issues involved here, and given BWT's not online, only the bare-bones quickplay, I wouldn't count on a lot of extra features in the online. If this follows the path of other franchises that go online, the first iteration will be slim pickings, then the SECOND will have the features they couldn't fit into the first.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but I'm not gonna be blindly optimistic; realistically, there's only so many code hours before shipping, and if BWT didn't make it in, I doubt a lot of other online options did.

That would be explained away with the ESRB's "Game experience may change during online play" bit they like to pull out a bunch.

well i have been told that you can have persistent band online (though i dont think it has been confirmed), like a clan, so you could make a logo, much like the process of making one in halo 2 or 3. A limited set of pics and desighns so no one can make a giant dingdong lol. But it would be a nice addone, or maybe jus put it on a patch on a shirt on your charecter or somthing, or on your guitar/drum.
