How come Rush and Black Sabbath have to be covers?

Because the master tracks aren't available.

Singer was good. It looks like a lot of fun to play. This is one of the only songs that was an early announcement I'm not sick of. Too much Suffragate City and Main Offender at E3... And I watched that hour long GameSpot feature at E3 so many times that I'm pretty much sick of Paranoid too, but I know this will change when I actually get to play them.

Not bad, seems as though the bass and guitar are expert, drums look to be medium, maybe hard.

I love how he pulls a "Peter Moore" in the middle on the song.

Odd. The singer has a tambourine segment. Everyone knows Geddy couldn't do that while playing bass... :P

There's a lot of good footage from E For All if you search "Rock Band E for All" on YouTube. There's even one with the description "Guys playing Detroit Rock City by KISS on EA's Rock Band at E For All" and then you realize they're actually playing Suffragette City.

That's the best singer I've heard for this song.

And this cover is Ubergood.

Is rapesauce good or bad?

Amazing the drums and the sticks can stand up to the pounding this "GamePro" is giving it.

well it wouldnt be the drumsticks that i would worry about withstanding all the damage from the pounding it would be the drumset itself lol

Yea.. the drummer most likely hit the xbox button that's in the middle of the kit. I saw it happen a couple times at the tour.

ETA: Also, the drums look like they're on easy, if I remember it correctly.

I was curious to see if they keyboard melody was played by the guitar like it sometimes was in GH - it's clearly not in that video.

Cover isn't THAT bad. Pretty good video I wish we could see the gameplay a bit better though.

Yea, they've mentioned they won't be doing that this time around.

(Honestly, for Highway Star, I wouldn't mind if they did.)

Im happy that the drum solo has some notechart to it and they didnt just make you do a fill.

I think the notecharts for the whole songs are in the game; my understanding is that the free-form fills are like "star power" (now "overdrive") and only show up in certain situations.

You guys are too nice lol. I was actually the singer in that first video. But yeah, that particular song was so much fun to do. Hardly ever saw anyone else doing it though =/. It was all Black Hole Sun, Dani California, and Wanted Dead or Alive with the occasional Say it Aint So every now and then.

My understanding, based on recent reading, is that the free-form fills only show up when you have enough Overdrive to, well, activate Overdrive -- otherwise it's still an actual chart.

I could be totally wrong - I haven't looked at any videos to try and determine that.

Here's another vid of Tom Sawyer(about a minute of it), the singing is a lot more clear.

Also, the guy does a solo at the end that sounds pretty sweet.... you'll understand when you see it.

yea the guy did a goob job singing. making it seem easy isn't easy :D

and those drum parts...mmmm I'm getting excited to play this song. I noticed one part he does a small solo in the original song but they replace it with the "freestyle" section, which was good planning by Harmonix since that part involves flams or something weird....just made me smile :)

I officially do not like the wah effect totally overpowers the guitar tone.

yeah it does sound kinda bad. but with other songs it sounds good

Man I can't wait to play this song.

The good thing about knowing the music means u can play the drum solos like they were in the origial song. Thats gonna be fun trying to make it sound like the original, but each fill bit in this song has a distinctive and unique fill.

It's gonna be sweeeeet.
