I did a quick search, and didn't find anything that seemed to answer my question. I was hoping to find a few quality books or biographies of anything rock. I heard The Dirt is good, but does anyone else have any suggestions?

Lately, Chapters has had a display in their rows with a ton of books about Rock History and biographies. Nothing incredibly noteworthy that I can remember, though.

Apparently Slash's autobiography is good and everytime I go into Borders its on sale so its a win win situation.

IMHO, Rolling Stones collection of Rock n Roll encylopedia has some great stuff in it. Might want to check it out. It's all the way up to nirvana and the modern motley crue.

I've read The Dirt and it's was so much better then I expected. Worth to give a try if you like Mötley Crüe. Planning to get Nixxi Sixx's Heroin Diaries soon. :D
