It has been 6 months since I sent EA my guitar and I still have not gotten it back. Finally though, EA sent me a message saying that they will finally send it. I got the message yesterday. Has anybody else had to have gone through this long wait?

i have also sent them a faulty guitar a few months ago and still havent heard anything from them regarding the situation. been using the xplorer (gh2) guitar because nobody seems to be able to make reliable guitars anymore, and now i think the xplorer is finally about to bite the dust. no more guitar for me i guess

What is your RMA number? Do you still have that?
I would like to know that number since my RMA numbers begin with a 9.
have you called the ever popular number
1-650-628-1001?
I might just demand a BRAND NEW game system if they held my guitar that long.
And I would keep yelling until I went as far as I could in the phone system management.
Then I would call Harmonix and EA and ask to speak with their legal department and the CEO. Then I would talk to their media relations.

With Harmonix you can file a complaint with their California Consumer Division. I did that with Disney and I was then called by Disney and the situation was decided in MY FAVOR so Disney could put that little matter behind them.
You have the ability to raise quite a big stink all with the power of the internet.

I was stuck waiting almost 2 months for my drum kit. Finally got it back today. I had to call 4 times...and they cancelled / set up new orders about 3 times. Every week I heard the same line "Expect it in 5 - 7 business days." Finally on this last call...I get the same message, but instead they have it shipped 2nd day air...so I guess I'm partially happy.

What I did is go to www.support.ea.com and signed in and went to the contact page or whatever and sent them a message saying how long it has been and told them everything that has happened. That I asked for a replacement, they sent me the box, I sent them the guitar and from there it had stopped. I gave them the RMA number. They gave me the UPS numbers. I told them according to that they have not sent UPS the guitar. So then finally they said they will send the guitar, by this time it had been 5 times that they had said this. This time was real though, they gave me new UPS numbers. And after a while I had checken up on them and they said that the guitar has been shipped. So I should be getting my guitar and drum pedal on Wednesday.
