OK we all know Rock Band is coming out in a month or so and i am put up with the big desicion of picking between this or a new guitar. If i get a new guitar im probaly get a acoustic. So in your opinion what should i get?

Well...If you get Rock Band, you'll almost instantly be famous. I'm thinking less so with the real guitar, as you'll have to learn (unless you can already play) and your chances are slim to none for being famous with the acoustic.

lol @ all the ignorance in this thread. bob dylan is perhaps one of the most famous person in music and if you remember correctly he made his claim to fame with what??? AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR

Got it. So, Justin, just buy the guitar and be as close to Bob Dylan as possible. Use that to get famous and then you will be able to pay for RockBand.

jeez there's literally thousands of Dylan covers out there and GN"R is not better than the -original (unless you really like the whole "knock knock knockin' -hey, hey , hey hey yahhh) but blehh
Dylan is the man behind the music and everyone knows it:)

oh, and if you're gonna get JUST ONE, get the acoustic if your gonna stick with it

In all seriousness, I prefer Electric to acoustic. But you will find more immediate enjoyment through Rock Band. So you should play RB til' you are bored of it then spring for an electric imho. Unless you're playing a Dylan song, then and only then should you get an acoustic.

Prove to me that there are more than 1999 covers of Bob Dylan songs. If you can do that, then your usage of "literally" would be correct.

I'm not hating Dylan but I find he writes alot better than he plays/sings. I prefer when he writes it and someone who sings/plays better kind of takes it from there. As long was we all know the man who made the music.

Get Rock Band. It takes years to master the guitar, you're not going to lose anything if you put it off a little longer. And if you learn on an acoustic, you will be able to absolutely fly on an electric later on.
