Well im a 360 owner and im getting GH III and witht his news i guess im not going to school for 3 days after oct 28th haha And some news just arrived at G4TTV

The demo for Guitar Hero 3 will be live tomorrow on Xbox.

Not only that, but, beginning November 2, 2007, gamers 13 years old or older will be able to participate in a number of activities online including a 72-hour Play & Win Sweepstakes where every hour winning axe shredders who register and play are awarded with special prize packages--prizes like a limited edition guitar faceplate signed by Slash, as well as a rare "meet your maker" achievement for those who can beat Neversoft's rock soldiers!

Players will face down the developers of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock as well as an exclusive Xbox LIVE leaderboard tournament to crown the top Guitar Hero player.

- The Metal (by Tenacious D)
- Hit Me with your Best Shot (as made famous by Pat Benatar)

i hope they have tournaments for each diffuculty setting cause what if you're not good enough to play on expert yet, it will be unfair to most GH firstcomers who wanna try, i can do hard but barely, and i sold my GH2 so i havent had enough practice in a while so i'm probably back down to medium, but meh, it should still be fun i guess

dont mean to be rude but if you read it it says that on November 1st that ehy will be giving prizes away for people with the actual game ... i know it dont say that but the leaderboard mention and the achievement mention means that its the full game not the demo you will win prizes in

i was just watching AOTS and they said this is the 1 and only time in forever yuo can get the meet your maker achievement (beat a developer)! wow the next 2 weekends are shaping up 2 be great :D

Oh ok thanks I was confused, that's actually better, because I should have the game by then, I'll see if I can't win me some prizes, I probably wont though, I'm not as good as half the other people that play on expert.

I know how you feel, I usually only play on Medium, I don't want to get trumped by some expert who lives and breathes the game.
