So I'm hearing rumors that band world tour will NOT be online. Wow. Me and my friend need to play it online. Can anyone confirm this? And If this is so, Harmonix, PLEASE start working on a patch right now, I cant imagine this feature just not being in the game.

It's true, WTB mode will not be online. There are several threads about this already where you can join in to voice your opinion if you wish.
