i bought the game singly only. now im looking to buy drums and a guitar. but im wondering if i need to buy the mic for the game to work.
so my question is do i need the mic to play rockband?
i knw this sounds stupid, but im not sure.

yes you need 1 =(. The 1st day I got my rockband through UPS, I was so excited to play it. Then, "Please insert mic" T_T. The next day, I rushed out to buy a mic XDD.

If you are playing on the Xbox 360, you can use the 360 headset as your mic. All the other platforms though? You will probably need one.

To play on guitar or drums, you don't. To play as a vocalist, you do.
