So, for the very few of you who don't read the annoucements on your way in here, they're giving us our warranties back until the 1st of October, 2008, no PoP required.

This is obviously awesome news, but I found a great laugh when reading the announcment...

Over seven months later, we decided to no longer make exceptions to our warranty program. The reasons for this were (1) we have a great deal of confidence in our peripherals, (2) we believe we have a great warranty program in place and (3) we found that a large number of the reported problems--especially those after the 60 day period--were due to mistreatment of the equipment.

Ok, let's see...

(1) we have a great deal of confidence in our peripherals,

Ok, hahaha this is that fat-buff guy who buys shirts at Target just to cut off the sleeves off so he looks buff while drinking beer at a Skynyrd concert confidence....you think you look good.... we don't

(2) we believe we have a great warranty program in place

This isn't horrible... but if you thought you had a great program, why did you/why are you changing it? Oh yea, and why change it back when people like... freak out?

(3) we found that a large number of the reported problems--especially those after the 60 day period--were due to mistreatment of the equipment

I have two statements on this... first; Don't play catch with a baby fetus (unless dead)... Don't sit in a high-chair at age 15+ (unless you're a midge)... and don't build a house out of marshmellows (unless you're fat)...

Mistreatment of equipment? Cmon guys... First off, you told us it could take the punishment, don't make me grab the YouTube videos. And for all the singers out there who are using Logitech Mic's... how'd they mistreat their garbage periph? Singing too loud?

And about the "especially after 60 days" bologna(sp?), you mean... when people started to develop the skills, and realized they weren't missing... the periphs were? Right.....

Granted, beggers can't be chosers. I'm glad I can RMA my drums again. I would have rather them said, "Hey look.... yea, the periphs sucked donkey balls.... our bizzads, here you go, fresh WORKING ones"

But a simple, here you go, take it or leave will do.

Thanks!
