XBConnect for bwt mode

So....did anyone ever find out if XBConnect could be used to online play BWT mode?

As long as the added it into the program sure, Hell If it ran just like a normal internet match would then that would be enough to make me pay for the pro. I rather wait for HMX to make a patch for it for RB1. I don't think it's possible to make a patch for that though, not completely sure on that. So maybe we'll have to wait a few years for RB2 to actually play BWT online.

Well, I am just guessing here, but I am assuming BWT is not a System Link game type, and is just played locally on one Xbox.

As far as I can remember, XBConnect basically tricks your Xbox into thinking it is connected to a network (like System Link) and allows you to play online with it.

I never used XBConnect after Xbox Live came out, so I don't know if you can use XBConnect for Xbox Live games/game types or just System Link games/game types. I don't know why you wouldn't be able to use Xbox Live games on XBConnect.

However, you could probably play the head to head, tug of war, etc... stuff over XBConnect, as those are online/Xbox Live game types, but not BWT, because that is local.
