I have to say I am really happy to know that Harmonix has a real in depth Lag Calibration tool. Read about it right here (http://community.rockband.com/index.php?do=/public/user/blogs/view/name_spraynwipe/id_497/).
I am also looking forward to the Endless Setlist. That will be on heck of a time playing through every song in one go. However, that will be a great way to build stamina for those of us who are new to drumming and singing.
Also, the Band World Tour just sounds cool because of how dynamic it sounds compared to the regular multi-tiered campaign set up. It is a bummer it isn't online though (could someone point me to an article that confirms this?), as I, as well as others, may not always be able to have a full band that has the same time off and are ready to play.
So, what're you looking forward to?

If both guitarists pick guitar, RB picks one at random to play bass. Good for all the times you don't want to argue, and it keeps both guitarists picking good bass songs.
Also, custom playlists and local band playlists. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

I really like how the setlists have been organized I think they did a great job with that. Whether it is the ability to make your own setlist, or to have them organized by difficulty or decade or genre, I think it is all very well done. Also the ability to play a random song is a great addition to the game as well, for those who can't decide or don't want to decide.

Bang Camaro mode, as long as it isn't overused.

Just a little more info on Solo Tour Mode. Everyone's saying it's like GH career, but I pray there's a little bit more. If it's still a "Tour" mode, just like there's a Band "Tour" mode, it should have most of the same aspects.
I just want to be able to do a setlist, get a manager, play special gigs, etc.
If they're both "tour modes" then they should have the same idea. I hope it's not like GH where you just play a song, go to menu, play a song, get money, and that's it.

DLC feeding back into BWT mode.
For that matter, DLC period. I know that's not exactly an under-looked feature, but I don't think the ginormous pile of goodness that is weekly DLC with full albums can actually be over-stated.
An excellent and fun way to train on vocals and drums.

"Star power does not overwrite other star power phrases when active" - subtle but welcome. I hate learning new songs and missing all the points because I happened to use SP badly.
Of the big features... character creation and DLC feeding into the career mode.

Just the fact that Bang Camaro is actually in it! And for the possibility of having their entire album available for download! (please?) :D

Yeah, I'm really jazzed about the integration of DLC into the Tour modes, well, the BWT at least. That's going to allow for years and years and years of replayability. And if they can patch in new events into the BWT as the game goes on, this could be a truly endless game. I don't know if they have that capability, but damn would that be nice.
I'm digging the Bang Camaro mode as well. I watch the single player montage video about three times a week now, and I can't help but smile every time I hear the crowd singing along to Learn to Fly.
And I know they haven't been talked about much here, but the on-line Tug of War and Face-Off modes are going to be crazy fun. I can never get into the ranked Halo matches cause it seems like I'm always overmatched, but I'm looking forward to these modes. I'm sure I'm going to be humbled more than not, but it's still going to be a blast.

Not overwriting Starpower is super exciting. Also, I love the avatars. Not just the customizing options, but that you can create an avatar in a solo tour or whatever, then use it anywhere you want. As nerdy as it may be, I'm actually going to be spending some time creating various funny Avatars just for giggles. I'll have a whole library to choose from. It's gonna be awesome.

Off topic: Where was it posted that DLC will be integrated into the Tour modes? I'd like to read that for myself, as that's some of the most exciting news I've read in quite awhile. Literally infinite replay value.
What excites me that few people are talking about? The new art direction for one. The GUI looks VERY slick. I was worried at first when HMX was forced to create a GUI different than GH's, but I certainly prefer the new style to the old.

I'm completely in love with the character modeling and animation. The lighting and camera work are amazing also.
Also the fact that the GUI doesn't look squished on a 4:3 tv. :D

You make an excellent point there, as I have noticed this myself but never articulated it as well as you.
* The ability to reasonably cram 4 people's worth of charts on a screen without it being cluttered.
* The little star counter in the top right corner showing the level of the performance... very handy little addition.
* General artistic style... everything from the venues to the select menus have that very distinct, intuitive, well-polished look. I guess the best word for it... "stylish"
You can say what you want about looks being secondary, but it does influence the whole experience. No one wants to play a game with crappy art. (cough, GH3, cough)

It was mentioned in the Gamespot article Gamespot article (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/puzzle/rockband/news.html?sid=6181200&om_act=convert&om_clk=newlyadded&tag=newlyadded;title;1) last week on BWT mode. Specfically:
"Turns out you'll be seeing downloadable music content--not just things like gamer pictures or new guitars--every single week. That might be a three-song pack, it might be a whole album, it could be just one song--but you'll be able to roll all of it right back into the World Tour mode, which means your band could be lighting up marquees around the globe for a long, long time to come."

Heh. This is Bang Camaro:
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/oaWi2fLi6co&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/oaWi2fLi6co&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
They played Push Push(Lady Lightning) on GH2. I think calling it "Camaro" mode is just people trying to be funny, because Bang Camaro has anywhere from 10-20 vocalists at any given time. But really, all they mean is that the crowd will sing along with the song during the chorus on certain songs.
I believe the exact details of when and why this happens are a mystery, but perhaps someone else was paying more attention...

Easily for me number one best overlooked feature is the animations, lip synching, and graphics engine. The game has the looks for sure.
Other mentions include:
.The consistency of all the custom stuff running
.Bonus songs
.The venues
.Online competitive
