The Important part...

MTV Games and Harmonix are releasing 12 "Rock Band" songs on July 15 from The Who — ranging from "My Generation" to "Who Are You" — that all utilize the band's master recordings. The tracks will be available for $1.99 individually or $19.99 together. The special release coincides with the upcoming "VH1 Rock Honors" ceremony commemorating The Who.

Also, Who's Next won't be coming in it's entirety...

"Their music really comes alive when you're playing it," said Rigopulos. "We were trying to release 'Who's Next' in its entirety, but we were unable to locate all the masters. So in the face of that, Pete (Townshend) and Roger (Daltrey) helped curate this best-of soundtrack of everything we were able to find.

Oh and this too...

MTV Games and Harmonix plan to announce additional "Rock Band 2" details — including the game's playlist — at the E3 Media and Business Summit in July. MTV executive Toffler hinted that "Rock Band 2" will be expanding upon idea of what it means to play online as well eventually broadening the musical genres of available downloadable content.

Nice find man!!! I am SOOOOOO looking forward to this!!!!! Disappointed about "Who's Next" but I'm REALLY hoping for some "Quadrophenia" material now!!!

My idea of the perfect 12-pack:
My Generation
Who Are You
The Real Me
Dreaming From The Waist
Relay
Behind Blue Eyes
The Punk And The Godfather
Bell Boy
Leaving Here
We Close Tonight
I've Had Enough
Love Reign O'er Me

I'm dreaming, aren't I?

P.S. I left off stuff past "Who Are You" because the announcement said it covered from "My Generation" to "Who Are You", There are tracks off of "Face Dances", "It's Hard" and "Endless Wire" I would LOVE to see!

Good find, OP. Thanks for posting the link to this article.

Meanwhile, same article, another thing I noticed: Thus far, over 15 million songs of the over 200 available tracks have been downloaded from the "Rock Band" online music store since the game's launch last November. The catalog includes songs from rock acts such as The Rolling Stones, Blondie, The Cars, Wolfmother, Queens of the Stone Age, Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth and Jimmy Buffett.

All of the artists listed as part of "the catalog" have songs available for download, with the exception of the very first one. Could this be a way of hinting that we will be seeing Stones DLC shortly as well?

Cool. Get some The Who on there, then fill in the gaps as you go.

Who knows, those missing "Who's Next" songs could turn up eventually. What if they got misplaced? Mislabeled? Etc., etc.

Anyway, great find, great news.

Europe is a big ol' place. RB was only released in UK, Germany and France. That leaves plenty on countrys that are still wailting for it and I think the poster was from Norway so he is still waiting.

great news from the HMX camp

love the blurb that other genres will be explored like country, hiphop and R&B. may not technically be rock, but I have always felt that the more organic hiphop/r&b would transfer to RB really well.

as for the Who....let me be the first to say FINALLY!!! and also THANKS!!

Behind Blue Eyes better have been located though. It's on the Greatest Hits compilation so that is a good sign. This also means we may get a track or two from Quadrophenia.....not a bad thing at all.

with RB2 coming out in Sept and GHWT in October, let me be amongst the first to say 'LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!'....we will benefit from it, that is for sure.

To be fair, the Pixies album consisted of mostly 2-3 minute long songs. I think it's probably safe to say that you'll be getting more for your money with the Who collection, even if you're only saving $3.89 by purchasing the full pack.

Nobody complained about the $9.99 six-packs of Grateful Dead or Boston... this is just two six-packs put together.

Not to mention this is likely to be twelve good songs, which is more than I can say for Doolittle.

Magic Bus

Magic Bus would be very boring with the repetitive music.

My picks:

I Can’t Explain
My Generation
I Can See For Miles
Pictures of Lily
I’m free
Pinball Wizard
Behind Blue Eyes
5:15
The Real Me
Baba O’Riley
Who are you
Long Live Rock

Damn...guess this means I'll have to stop forgetting to pick up more MS Points!

But, if the announced two songs are any indication, this should be a pretty awesome pack. I wonder if "Who are You" will be the radio edit, or if we'll have the original. It's not really an issue (won't bother me if it is censored, won't bother me if it isn't), I'm just curious.

YEAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! :p

I think I like the idea more of playing the "greatest hits" picks rather than the entire Who's Next album. The important thing is that this is the most official news we've heard of The Who coming to RB, and that it's gonna happen soon.

This is great news, I'd rather I've a Greatest Hits album than Who's Next anyways, myself.

Agreed completely. Who's Next is a decent album, but there's a lot of other Who songs I also wanted to see for download.

Fingers crossed for Pinball Wizard. haha

I'm glad to hear about RB2, I was wondering if they'd say anything with all the rumors, and the heat coming from GH:WT.

I'm very excited to see the Who pack. I was assuming that we'd see some Who to coincide with the VH1 Rock Honors show.

I think "Pinball Wizard" and "My Generation" are for certain, if I recall, both were on the leaked list ages ago. Since they mentioned "Who Are You", that would lead me to believe that we have 3 songs which are certain out of 12. I'd say since Who's Next was originally planned, that "Behind Blue Eyes" should be expected as well. I would love to guess the other 8, but I can't. There's too much Who that could be possible. Not all of which were singles. I'm looking forward to what they pick, and I'm definitely going to get the whole set.

I've become a big fan of The Who Sell Out through Petra Haden's all-voice cover album, and hope to see some of that on there, even though it's far less interesting when The Who do it, strangely enough.

Tattoo, Sunrise, and Silas Stingy please! *Colbert hand grab* Also, Armenia City In The Sky, Relax, Our Love Was, and I Can See For Miles!

This makes me wish I'd become more fond of the music that The Who is popular for. I'm bound for disappointment.

Well since Pete and Roger were personally involved in this what are the chances for them getting together and re-recording the lost tracks. Jimmy Buffett recently did this this so there is a precident for it. I would hope sometime down the road in the future that they can find the time to re-record the masters before they can't do it anymore. Also who knows maybe one day the masters will turn up. They are probably mislabled and are collecting dust somewhere.

Ideal The Who songs
My Generation
Behind Blue Eyes
Magic Bus
Who Are You
Baba O'Riley
Squeeze Box
5.15
Let's See Action
I Can See For Miles
You Better You Bet
Pinball Wizard
Quadrophenia

EXTREME HAPPINESS BECAUSE HARMONIX IS RELEASING THE WHO WITH THE GREATEST DRUMMER OF ALL TIME KEITH MOON

Allow me to respond:

My Generation - Would be fun to play

Behind Blue Eyes - Boring for bassist and drummer until the rock ending hits, lots of fun then

Magic Bus - Boring as hell for bassist (especially) and drummer throughout the song.

Who Are You - Tonnes of fun overall

Baba O'Riley - Not possible, masters are missing. (Track 1, Side 1 of "Who's Next for reference. Masters have been missing since at least 2000)

Squeeze Box - Can't deny this would be kinda fun to play but there are far better songs in the catalogue.

5:15 - Fun song, no doubt, but there are better off of "Quadrophenia"

Let's See Action - Meh song overall, released as a stopgap between "Tommy" and "Who's Next" and it kinda shows.

I Can See For Miles - Great choice!!

You Better You Bet - Would be fun, but probably not included due to the fact that it was from the 1981 "Face Dances" album, released 2 years after "Who Are You" which is listed as the last album covered by this package on the press release.

Pinball Wizard - Would be fun, but man is this song overplayed!

Quadrophenia - Nice choice, not likely due to it being an instrumental.

Sorry Murricane and Papermario21, both of those songs are off of side 1 of "Who's Next" (Tracks 1 & 2 respectively) and thus are missing their masters (The masters for side 1 of "Who's Next" have been missing since approximately 2000 when Pete Townshend went looking for them for a planned remixing on "Who's Next". The versions used on the Deluxe Edition were painstakingly reconstructed from many different takes that sounded similar enough to pass. The casual fan would not notice any differences from the originals, but hardcore fans can point out differences in the sounds.

MTV Games and Harmonix are releasing 12 "Rock Band" songs on July 15 from The Who — ranging from "My Generation" to "Who Are You" — that all utilize the band's master recordings. The tracks will be available for $1.99 individually or $19.99 together.

Now I'm not typically a complainer but WTF is this!?

Doolittle had 14 songs, TWO songs MORE, and $1 LESS!!

The reasoning seems fairly obvious. Many of the Doolittle songs are very short. Add up the track lengths when this comes out, and I'm betting the Who will be the better bargain, time-wise.

Thus far, over 15 million songs of the over 200 available tracks have been downloaded from the "Rock Band" online music store since the game's launch last November. The catalog includes songs from rock acts such as The Rolling Stones, Blondie, The Cars, Wolfmother, Queens of the Stone Age, Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth and Jimmy Buffett.

Did anybody notice that he said The Rolling Stones have songs in the Music Store, but they don't

My god.
Sean, you are THE MAN!!!!!! You made one of my dreams come true. I'm glad to hear that Roger and Pete were involved. Although, can you confirm for us whether the part about being from "My Generation" to "Who Are You" is correct? They did do some great stuff after "Who Are You", off the top of my head:
Face Dances, 1981:
You Better You Bet
Don't Let Go The Coat
You
The Quiet One

It's Hard, 1982:
Eminence Front
Dangerous
Cry If You Want

Endless Wire, 2006:
Black Widow Eyes
Fragments
Mike Post Theme
It's Not Enough

Any chance some of these tunes might make it in, or are we going to be restricted to the Moon years.

I can say the same thing about the Stones as well ;)

Seriously, one thing that The Who have never become is a caricature of themselves. The Stones still try to prance around like they are 20 years old, nevermind the multiple "last tour ever"s (something that The Who has only done once). The Stones are a joke anymore and I can never understand why they are still popular, maybe the lowest common denominator factor at work here.

Sorry, I just really despise The Stones and while I'm not going to begrudge your liking of them nor insult your intelligence because you like them, I really feel that The Stones were a pale comparison to The Who back when both bands were still going strong, and are even worse now compared to the aged-gracefully Who.

P.S. m00p, no worries on "Behind Blue Eyes", those masters are still in Pete's possession. "Baba O'Rielly" on the other hand, was on side 1 and thus the masters are lost for the moment.

Whether or not the version is the radio edit or the album cut is irrelevant, nothing is preventing you from belting out "****" instead of "hell".

My Generation will 99.99999% be the original version for the following reasons:
1) The "Live At Leeds" version will have too much bleed through on the various instruments (i.e. drums coming through guitar mics etc.)
2) The "My Generation/Land Of Hope And Glory" was recorded for a "Top of the Pops" show. The recording is only separated in two sections, the instruments on one track and the vocals on another (since vocals were done live on the show). The instrumental track is recorded all together prior to the start of the program and played over the mimed performance.

IMO the essential tracks I'm hoping will show up here are I Can See For Miles, Pinball Wizard, Behind Blue Eyes, and Love, Reign O'er Me. I bet a million to one we see those. The other songs are anyone's guess, though I'm pulling for a few B-sides, like Pure and Easy (it was going to be on Who's Next, so it'd be a good consolation IMO)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet seeing as how I don't feel like going through the entire topic, but...

One of my local classic rock radio stations has a contest involving The Who and Rock Band. When you call up and qualify for tickets to the VH1 Rock Honors: The Who you get a Rock Band Special Edition for the 360 and a (I assume) 1600 MSP card.

I don't quite know what to make of it and I'm just putting it out there. So I went and looked up the date for the VH1 event and it might be possible that some Who might be put out on the 15 (since the event is the 17, PS3 owners take note).

Again, this may have been mentioned before. I also only brought up my local radio station since they seem to be bigger into Guitar Hero. So... take this as baseless conjecture or something.

Wow, so I was right. Sweet. I can't wait to play the songs!

"Pure And Easy" was not a B-side. It was released on the album "Odds & Sods". It was originally to be released alongside 2 other "Lifehouse"/"Who's Next" rejects (for those who don't know, "Lifehouse" was a HUGE concept by Pete Townshend similar to "Tommy" but taken to the next level. It didn't play out quite right and became "Who's Next") but was decided against in the end. It was to be the lead-off single from "Lifehouse".

That would blow hardcore if it's the radio edit! I'm totally cool with the censored full version. Kinda like what they did with "Sabotage" but if they take that whole line out it's gonna be a major bummer. I'm sure they (Roger, Pete and Harmonix) had this very conversation and more than likely came to the conclusion that they can just edit out the f bomb and have people sing it if they want to.

The only ones I would miss from Who's Next would be "Baba O'Riley", "Bargain", "Going Mobile", & "Behind Blue Eyes". I hope they somehow got them for this pack, but I'm not holding my breath.

As for this pack costing more than Doolittle, no offense to The Pixies fans, but The Who was a MUCH bigger band than they ever were. I see no problem with charging a little extra for one of the all-time greats.

After months of lurking I finally had to register just to say how excited I am for this....I've been hoping for "My Generation" since the day I bought this game and almost pissed myself when I read that it was being released (although as a mid-level expert drummer I have a feeling I am going to be failing out quite a bit:eek:)

My second favorite Who song ever is "I Can See For Miles" and if that came out I might have a heart attack. And since Pete Towshend was directly involved in selecting songs and he calls that song "the ultimate Who record" I think there is a good chance it will be in there as long as the masters still exist

Who Are You (any song that tells the Sex Pistols to shut the hell up is cool with me)

That would be doubly funny given the current state of the Sex Pistols tied to GH3.

Great news, but if they are including 'Who Are You' does that mean it's going to be censored??

I really wish they would just pick songs that don't need to be censored in the first place. Though I love this song, seeing it censored will sadden me.

And this is one of those songs that doesn't even get censored on the radio....but I suppose that won't matter, if they cut Marijuana out of the Pixies song then they will censor everything/anything.

Good news overall though IMO!

The SOLE issue I have with this is the price. $20? More songs on Doolittle for less price. Would have been nice if they had found a happy medium, between the prior albums and Doolittle. Other than that, can't wait for the songs

Are you serious? Doolittle has a bunch of short throwaway tracks, how can you compare them like that it makes no sense.

I'm sure every single track will be well worth the money. I would pay $20 for the drum charts alone. Getting everything else is just a bonus.

All I know is that if "Join Together" is part of the release then that is going to be the the mandatory first song at every rock band party I host!

That said.. these seem the most likely (assuming Pete and Roger don't decide to go for some deeper cuts)

My Generation
Magic Bus
I Can See for Miles
Who Are You
The Real Me
Behind Blue Eyes
Pinball Wizard
Love Reign O'er Me
Join Together

I read the first 8 pages... this kicks ass.

I hate to say anything negative at a time like this, but I sure freakin hope the setlist that's about to be released for rb2 is more like gh1's and less like rb's...

sorry but it sounds even worse, country, r&b, hip hop, that's all good for dlc, and I'd dl it, but don't put it in the main setlist....

GH1 and 2 Harmonix had CREAM, OZZY, MEGADETH, QUEEN, ANTHRAX, PANTERA... I LOVED that game...

and Heart too, everyone's always requesting them for some reason... anyway, they did it right the first time, here's hoping they do it again.

Not complaining too much, I LOVE rb and hmx, and even more today.

Still frustrating how awesome and missed the gh main setlists are, NEED drums for those songs! 80's had some amazing tunes on it too...

And I feel like a dick, but I have to also complain about rb2 coming to 360 first...

the ps3 is a much better system and much more capable of better games, WHY???????????????

Don't make us wait too much longer, please???? And would it be to much to beg for, working talky parts, pretty please?

There have been several important dates in the history of The Who: May 23, 1969 – Iconic rock album Tommy is released and rockets to No. 4 on the U.S. charts. May 31, 1976 – The Who’s second concert at Charlton football ground earns them an entry in the Guinness Book of Records as the “world’s loudest rock band.” July 13, 1985 – The Who re-form to perform at Live Aid and whip Wembley Stadium into an absolute frenzy.

Now July 15, 2008 joins these dates as a dozen classic songs by The Who get new life as Rock Band™ game play. MTV Games and Harmonix announced today that even more of the legendary group's greatest hits will be added to the Rock Band catalog of downloadable content with the release of “The Best of The Who Rock Band Edition.”

“We’re really pleased to have our songs featured in Rock Band,” says Roger Daltrey, lead singer of The Who. “It allows our established fan base to interact with our music in a way that’s fresh and exciting, while also exposing our songs to new audiences.”

“I’m a fan of Rock Band,” says Who guitarist Pete Townshend. “I play the game with my son and girlfriend and love the way it brings different generations together through music. I like the idea that people of all ages will be having fun playing our songs.”

“The Who is consistently one of our most requested bands" says Paul DeGooyer, SVP Electronic Games and Music, MTV, "and it is great to be able to bring this unique compilation of their music to the Rock Band community.”

The 12 songs were selected by Harmonix and MTV Games after consulting with Townshend and Daltrey, who helped curate the track list. The downloadable tracks represent the meaty, beaty, big and bouncy best of The Who, including classics such as “Amazing Journey,”“Baba O'Riley,” “Sea & Sand,” three songs from the classic Live At Leeds album (including a special edited version of “My Generation”) and more.

Each track will be available for $1.99 per track (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) or $19.99 (1600 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) for the entire collection of tracks.

The release of “The Best of The Who Rock Band Edition” coincides with the upcoming “VH1 Rock Honors” celebration honoring the legendary rock band. Premiering on Thursday, July 17 at 9pm on VH1, VH1 Classic and MHD, the show will celebrate The Who’s monumental legacy with a 2 hour tribute saluting the music and the lasting impact of this groundbreaking band. The influence of The Who will be felt through spoken tributes, filmed packages and performances by some of today’s premiere rock acts as well as the legends themselves. The night will feature tribute performances by Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, The Flaming Lips and Incubus as well as an electrifying grand finale performance from The Who.

Release date: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 (Xbox LIVE® Marketplace and PLAYSTATION®Store)

Strange. They have Baba O'Riley and three live songs. That's a very surprising list. I guess Bargain was the song holding it up? But then what happened with pinball wizard, which was confirmed on that leaked list a while back? It seems Pete didn't like the song.

Whatever. Looks like I'm going to spend twenty dollars on rock band in two weeks. Glad I loaded up on those discount target cards.

So Baba O'Riley didn't get destroyed. SWEET!

My Generation (LIVE), sweet we get The Who Live. If there's any band who won't disappoint in a live rendition it's The Who (and Muse ;)).

I think it's awesome that Townshed plays Rock Band with his son. It's cool to think that Rock Stars as big as him actually play the product they are in.

A couple of observations:

1. If the live version of My Generation is from Live at Leeds, we're looking at a 14-minute version. Given that Young Man Blues and Summertime Blues were both on the album, I don't think it is too far-fetched.

2. Remember that RB2 is coming. Pinball Wizard may have been held back to be an on-disc song.

3. This absolutely rules. I want to run through the streets naked... We got Baba!

This is the best version and preformance of My Generation I've ever heard. This preformance is so iconic, and the album version is 14 minutes long. This is NOT horrible. I don't know what the **** you're thinking because The Who Live >>> The Who in the studio, and Live at Leeds blows away any Who Album other than Quadrophenia.

My guess is that they cut off My Generation where it ended in the studio version. They go on for another ten minutes or so in the Live at Leeds version, which would make a fun party song very monotonous for non Who fans.

WOW. This is an amazing list of songs! Why can't this be next week's DLC?!

I just have to wonder which live version of "My Generation" they're going to use. The first live album that comes to mind is "Live at Leeds," but the track is over fifteen minutes long (as opposed to the three minute studio recording)!

Though I'm disappointed there's no "Pinball Wizard," I guess they might be saving that for Rock Band 2 now. I'm sure there will be at least one track from The Who on the disc.

EDIT: Whoops! I was so excited that I failed to read the whole article! Good to hear they're using the Live at Leeds tracks and editing "My Generation" so that my friends will actually play it with me.

Yeah, no pinball wizard = semi-fail. I'll probably get 3 of these.

SEMI-FAIL!!!!!????

Wha?

This is an amazing set of songs. Any fan of The Who has to agree with that.

You get 3 great songs from 'Who's Next', one which was thought to be lost.

Two of the best tracks from 'Live at Leeds', which are blues orientated...BLUES!!!! 'Who Are You' and even the best post-Moon Who song 'Eminence Front'!

'Real Good Looking Boy' isn't half bad, but 'Amazing Journey'!

While I too with for 'Doctor Jimmy' or '5:15', we do get a really good track from Quadrophenia in 'Sea and Sand'.

Then there is the old Pearl Jam cover staple 'Leaving Here', which is a definitive 60's mod-rocker.

I had figured that 'Pinball Wizard' might be saved for RB2, along with the Stone's 'Satisfaction', since the new RB2 stresses the best rock anthems from 60's-00's...but this setlist is fan-****ing-tastic.

This setlist is a dream for fans of bass, guitar, vocals, and drums!!!

I dunno if it was this topic or another one but someone said something about the 14 Pixies tracks being $1 cheaper for 2 more songs...

"Amazing Journey" can only find live ones ranging from 5:24 to 8:17
"Baba O'Riley" 5:06
"Behind Blue Eyes" 3:43
"Eminence Front" 6:05
"Going Mobile" 3:39
"Leaving Here" 2:50? (could only find covers)
"My Generation" (LIVE) 3:18-10:00??
"Real Good Looking Boy" 3:50
"Sea & Sand" 5:01
"Summertime Blues" (LIVE) 3:25
"Who Are You" 6:18
"Young Man Blues" (LIVE) 5:57

So it's about 55 minutes overall versions pending. Dolittle was only 38 mins. So you're actually getting a significant deal compared to Dolittle.

Oh also booo no Magic Bus!

Now, if they would have included Love Rain O'er Me, I may have died.

Anybody worried about the live tracks, just go listen to Live At Leeds. They're all amazing, and will be just as good if not better than the studio versions.

I dunno if it was this topic or another one but someone said something about the 14 Pixies tracks being $1 cheaper for 2 more songs...

"Amazing Journey" can only find live ones ranging from 5:24 to 8:17
"Baba O'Riley" 5:06
"Behind Blue Eyes" 3:43
"Eminence Front" 6:05
"Going Mobile" 3:39
"Leaving Here" 2:50? (could only find covers)
"My Generation" (LIVE) 3:18-10:00??
"Real Good Looking Boy" 3:50
"Sea & Sand" 5:01
"Summertime Blues" (LIVE) 3:25
"Who Are You" 6:18
"Young Man Blues" (LIVE) 5:57

So it's about 55 minutes overall versions pending. Dolittle was only 38 mins. So you're actually getting a significant deal compared to Dolittle.

Oh also booo no Magic Bus!
Maybe we'll get another 3 pack later with I Can See for Miles,Magic Bus and Pinball Wizard.

Agreed on that last bit. Methinks the live tracks are from Live at Leeds.

Just to make this official, that tracklist for the Who Pack is as follows-

“Amazing Journey”
“Baba O'Riley”
“Behind Blue Eyes”
“Eminence Front”
“Going Mobile”
“Leaving Here”
“My Generation” (LIVE)
“Real Good Looking Boy”
“Sea & Sand”
“Summertime Blues” (LIVE)
“Who Are You”
“Young Man Blues” (LIVE)

I'll make the official official thing tomorrow but these tracks are legit (and awesome). I'll have to do another community playthrough with you all of the Who tracks when I get back from E3.

No 5:15, but let me take a second to, sadly conform to the generic The Who fan stereotype, and flip out about Baba O'Riley! OH MY GOD YES! This is going to be the greatest Rock Band pack ever...until a Dylan pack comes out (please?), but still. The past few months have usually been great, but this pack trumps them all. Thank you HMX!

No "You Better You Bet"? What about "Happy Jack" or "The Seeker"? But instead we get songs I've never heard of, and I'm quite sure were NOT hits, such as "Really Good Looking Boy"? Color me unimpressed. You guys can't even get a greatest hits collection right!

This list was curated by Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey. If you have a problem with how they create a list of their own greatest hits? Well, I guess I would say you are wrong, and couldn't possibly stand a chance of being right.

Because they are from arguably the greatest live album ever "Live at Leeds"

amazing. The WHO are classic...and we knew it was coming eventually. Still sad that there is no mention of Pinball Wizard (my favorite by the who).

Aren't they all from 'Live from Leeds' too? That's considered one of the best live albums of all time, on par with The Live Basement Tape Collection Dylan dropped. Even without 5:15, all the tracks are great, even the Live ones, and I usually hate live songs, but the Leeds ones are really good.

Are you serious? Awful? I've though of the Who for a while now as the Greatest band ever, and while you might not like them, you can't call THE WHO awful. That's just rock blasphemy.

Agreed, You can say "I don't like the who", but you can't say they're "Rock nonsense"

I don't like them so much, but hey, Baba O'Riley, Behind Blue Eyes, and Who are You ARE AWESOME.

I was so pumped when I heard that Who's Next was coming to DLC and very disappointed when I heard that the master's were lost. But I'm sorry to you Who's Next lovers, but I'm way more excited for this pack then I would be for Who's Next. "Sea and Sand" is my all-time favorite Who song and "Real Good Looking Boy" is right near the top. Add in the trio of Who's Next classics and the Live at Leeds stuff, and this pack just wins. I cannot wait to July 15th. Harmonix, Pete, and Roger all rule.

I'm interested to see what the Live recordings are like to play, but Baba O'Riley caps off a great day. How did they manage to get it? I thought it was damaged? Since Pinball Wizard is not here, it is either:
1) In Rock Band 2
or
2) in the The Who Pack 02
or
3) not going to be released?

nevertheless this is absolute must for any rockband owner out there.

I feel so relieved that Baba is on the list, since I herd most of the Side A masters are gone, I was liked "aww no Baba *tears*" I am glad that they still have Baba. Now I can rest easy and dream of playing that song at parties.

What's everyone's theory on how Behind Blue Eyes will work for drums? They don't come in until about 2:00, so will it skip in drums tour (like Foreplay in vocals tour)?
