Why can't the forums and everything just be here at RockBand.com? I don't want to have to hop back and forth between the RB2 forums and these before launch.

quite simply it's because we, the bored people of the internet, appreciate another place to spend time looking at pretty things.

Now, i understand that you're only 12 and you've yet to complete the internet and get bored of it, so you think you have your hands full with what you already know, but some of us are past that and anything new is a welcome distraction.

hum never had that happen before, i post several threads sometimes and never get that.

But for an answer to your ? they will probably merge(redirect you to the new site at a later time when you type in rockband.com it will take you to rockband2.com ) alot of sites do that bro. no biggie, i thought the same thing when i saw it first too.

Why does this subject need a new thread when HMXHenry already started one? Just because there's a new "teaser site" doesn't necessarily mean there are going to be separate forums down the road.

Maybe it seems like that at the moment, but I'm certainly glad there will be another forum. They could make separate forums for the discussions right in here, but switching between the RockBand specific forum, and the RockBand2 specific forum, wouldn't be any different than having the two sites up in different browser tabs.

I really don't see how it's that complicated - like said, unless you're implying you wanted all discussions regarding both games to be in the exact same forums, which would seriously start to become a nuisance.

Why is there another site? Its called marketing. Of course there is another site, because they want a dedicated marketing vehicle to Rock Band 2. It is a new product, not simply an expansion pack, so it merits that treatment.

Do we even know for certain that there will be separate forums? I mean, its awfully early to be worrying about this.
