Like i said, I would be back every week with the date updates ;) (Last friday and saturday I was busy, so I couldn't post)

Well, it's 4 weeks now.

Thats cool, but it would be cool for the community to have a thread like this. I'm sure people could figure out the count down to the new year, but masses gather in Times Square to celebrate it. It would be the same thing if this thread was stickied.

That's still like 670 hours worth of waiting! With that much time you could almost watch every Simpsons episode ever made.

I've got 655 hours until Gamestop opens on the 20th, but sleeping 7 hours a night (196 hours) drops that down to only 459 hours (which is enough time to watch those 30 second IGN gameplay videos 13,770 times).

Yea, the countdown in the Stickied Guide is enough.

Making a thread every week isn't doing much but make us talk about how much we want to beat our heads in because we can't play yet :D

Actually, sir, they weren't really zombies. They were "infected". Zombies must be alive and then die and be reanimated. The ones already dead in 28DL couldn't be reanimated. They must've still been alive while infected.

Naturally, but that's more of a modern movie analog to the classic zombie -- an attempt to explain the situation using science rather than leaving it at the ambiguous origins started in Night of the Lighting Dead. Since superflus, chemical warfare, and other science bugaboos are big in the collective conscious nowadays it's a natural match -- they're not undead, they're just diseased. Of course, the end result is the same, mindless killing and flesheating machines that can't be easily stopped -- they're just recast to fit our current fears instead of being a metaphor of communist expansion or mindless consumerism (depending on which movie you're watching).
