I submitted my request this morning (6/30/08) and gave my credit card number for the express method, but the status remains as "Pending Receipt".

My impression is that with the warranty extension taking effect on 6/30/08 that we would not need to submit a reciept. So what gives? Is my "express" RMA going to be stuck with that status indefinitely?

I think the extension is not up till a little later.

Is that official? The only thing I've seen official is that it was supposed to begin on 6/30/08.

Its today but I think maybe 3 - 12 pm it will be up.

I put in for my "Express" RMA yesterday morning and the status continues to be "Pending Reciept". I sent a question to EA support about it which has been unanswered for over 30 hours now...even though they claim they will respond within 24 hours.

I went the Express route so that I could hopefully get a new pedal before the holiday weekend, but as the time is ticking away on day 2 after the RMA with no status change I am getting worried. I've seen posts from others that RMAed yesterday and they said their status has changed to "Shipped".

Is anyone else experiencing this kind of trouble getting a response from support or is it just me?

It seems that this new deal is severly slowing down the RMA process. I submitted my receipt in sometime last week and it's been five days since they confirmed I was within the 60-day period. My package has still not been shipped and UPS tracking has been stuck at "Billing Information Received" ever since. Oh, and it was an Express RMA too. A little dissapointed in the speed. I ordered a third party replacement part to ensure that the flimsy pedal will not break again on the same day of the confirmation. The part came in the mail yesterday from California (all the way across the country). I'm still waiting for the RMA piece from EA from only one state away.

For anyone else having this issue...you must call customer support. The requests that were put in yesterday before they updated their system will need to be reset by a customer service rep. They fixed it for me in less than 5 minutes over the phone.
