Cool, I was the first one to vote!
I will absolutely fork over the money for more durable periphs. Hell, I might pay that just for a set of drums that don't break every couple of months.
Of course, I'm a single guy in my thirties, so it's probably a different story than for most people. Don't think it's a coincidence all my single friends have RB and none of my married ones do, but...
Hells yeah, I'll start making room on my Best Buy card right now.

Although I voted yes I think it depends on the timing. I have 4 good guitars and my RB brand drums never failed me, I am still on the original set with some upgrades to reinforce them. I see mad catz has a set coming for about $150 in mid-July and they look sweet. I am going to need to see the new rockband drums before these come out to make a decision. If rockband does not show them to us I will have to fork out the money for the sweet looking Mad catz set and just pick up rb2 game only.

I voted yes, but I'd rather them release standalone drums at release and buy those + the game.

Nope. I MIGHT get the drumset, but probably not. Game only for me.

I'm still using a used Guitar Hero 2 X-plorer that I got off e-bay, so I'd probably just try to get the drums + game.

Harmonix is by force of habit, a company that reveals almost everything at E3.

I'll be a poor son of a ***** college student next year, so it's probably out of the question! I will see what I can do though. I'm interested to see these new drums.

Well the bundle also includes the mic...will that also be stronger? ;)

New Here (first post) but been lurking a bit.
I voted no. Durability is not my first concern. I use old GH2 wired guitars (X-plorer) with both GH and Rock Band. I picked up my drum kit on sale, and use the 360 mike. :) I guess I'm cheap.
I'd buy them in a heartbeat if they were compatible with GH:WT (but knowing the track record from the GH guys I don't expect that to happen). I'm planning on skipping the instruments for GH:WT because it doesn't look like you can use the drum kit with Rock Band.
I really only want one set of plastic instruments. So I will likely just keep what I have. If the drums have problems (and they haven't yet), I'll likely upgrade to a RB2 Drumset.
I voted no. I've got a launch set that has been solid. My drums have held up great. I even ended up buying an electronic kit and modded it to play with the stock kit, but I consistently score higher on the original set. 80 or so songs for $60 plus some extra features sounded like a no-brainer, till I read I'll have to wait (ps3 owner). I'll likely buy the disc, but will wait and see what GH:WT has to offer now.

It's been tested to have a secondary use for female self defense, so yes. ;)

Nope. My guitars and microphone will work fine and I'm going to be building a drumset.

I have shattered 3 sets to date. The problem is the plastic disc that supports the head. They shatter, crack, break etc.,which in turn renders the sensors faulty = dropped notes. HMX has never sent me a replacement set that fixed this issue,so I am waiting on others such as Madcatz to see if they have addressed this or not. If not,GHWT here I come!Drummer for Beauty and the Beats featuring Onezenchic on Vox

I had initially planned to wait and see what improvements were made to the drums before deciding whether or not I'd get the whole bundle. But my son is saying he'd like the new guitar, and if we're already getting that plus the disc then I might as well pay up for the rest.

Exactly my sentiments. New strat may be sturdier, but it still appears to have that ****ty strumbar. I'll stick with my xplorer.

As it is right now, there's no chance I'm buying the bundle. The crappy guitar is the same but with a different look. I'll buy the game and a set of drums.
