What do you think the new achievements will be?

Does anyone think that they will be a repeat of the majority of RB1 or, all new stuff? My guess is half and half.

Besides one for doing bass tour, I bet there will be stuff for gold starring songs as a band and not just individually. Maybe a "savior" achievement where you have to save three people over the course of a song.

Or do you think they will go the GH route and just give out achievements for failing out of songs?

What are your guys' ideas?

yes, i agree with you, we need some band acheivments..like what you said with gold staring a song with a band, also being the band MVP...highest note streak, or reaching 1,000,000 points in a song ect.. ect..

I think and hope that it will be half new, half old. I don't think they can have all new achievments, because of people playing RB2 that has never played RB1. I'm most likely going to be one of those people.

EDIT: I also really like that "Band Savior" idea, sounds pretty cool.

I vote for more band-based achievements that aren't centered on simply completing cities. All good ideas in the thread so far...

I would also say to add one for a full-band 100%, but not only on Expert, as many people just don't play on Expert exclusively. Though, I would say it can't be earned on Easy just for the sake of making the achievement worth at least a little something...

More band achievements besides cities. And a bass tour achievement.

I think Rock Band's achievements were pretty good... compared to most games. I like all the Solo-Tour ones, as well as 100% songs on all 4 instruments. I easily got the Score Duel/Tug-of-War achievements, but I think they could do a little better than "Win 5 in a row"; more creative at least.

Whatever they do will be better than GH:3. "Win 15 ranked matches in a row using the standard controller"... really?

At least they were sane enough to unlock to have it so finishing off a high difficulty solo tour also unlocked the lower achievements. I realize it's not a big issue in the grand scheme of things, but for completionists, it's a good thing.

The only silly GH3 achievement I did was doing a song with the sound off (and I beat my little brother's score too!), and I could almost pull off the 200k on Cult of Personality with no star power one. But some of the others were ri-goddamn-diculous (like the Number of the Beast one).

I did number of the beast on easy with the whammy taped lol (not on my account though, was at my friends place)

What about some people who dont play with a band as much?
I play with my brother eevery now and then but he goes to college for most of the year
