View Full Version : Pedal RMA Model Problem

I recently put in a standard RMA for a broken pedal. I was told that they EA would ship me an empty box for which to return my broken merchandise. Today I received a box with a pedal in it. On the phone the customer support rep assured me that I would be getting the latest model availible. The newer models do not have an extended orange tab on the underside of the pedal. The pedal I received did this this tab. I am not sure what to do because I have already purchased a replacement pedal piece that is gauranteed not to break but only compatible with the newer model. I'm tempted to try the RMA process again in hopes of getting the said model. I am also worried that they sent my pedal by mistake seeing as how they were supposed to receive mine first before completing the RMA process. Should I contact support or just send them my broken pedal in hopes of them returing another pedal, hopefully this time the newer model. Any help in my situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The same thing happened with me. I asked if I am suppose to send them the broken one in the box, but they said not to. When you think about, what could they do with a broken pedal. They wouldn't be able to fix it and send it out to someone.
