I think you are for asking how to do something without having the right requirements. Phail.

Either go to a walmart and get cards that have microsoft points on them already or you can do it with a credit card over xbox live. You don't need a gold account to buy things, you just need a basic silver (Free) account.

No. You don't have to use itunes to get your music. But if you want to get extra content for your games, you have to use the Marketplace.

Yeah pretty much, you just go into the system and you add "microsoft points" which is basically just money. As I said before, you can go to a store and buy a 1600 point or 4000 point card and just enter an activation code that's on the back of the card. Or you can get a parent (or if you have a credit card) to add microsoft points with their credit card.

1600 = $20
4000 = $50
They have different packages on live as well, buying from the store and buying from live is the same ammount. One you don't have to worry about your credit card getting stolen though.

I've heard so many people say "OMG PEEPUL GUNNA H4X MY CC ON XBOX". I don't get it. I would think MS was serious about the security of peoples funding sources. And another thing that sucks is that if you decide to buy 4000 points, you save no money buying in bulk.

That's the thing that always bothered me. Thankfully I got a whole bunch of points free from the WCG so I should be set for a good long while...
