Will we be able to use MIDI drum sets?

I have my Yamaha DTXpress III connected to my PS2 for playing Drummania. My question is will Rock Band support MIDI>USB connected drum sets, at least on the PS3 version, because I don't want to use some crappy lapsized drum kit.

So it's looking pretty possible. Maybe if they have huge problems getting it to be easily supported they'll cut it, but i think the chances of it supporting midi is pretty good.

MIDI is an old and well established standard, I'm confident that in the end of the day they will manage to get it done (unless MS restrictions f*ck them).
