Can Someone help me please!! I'm stuck on 2 songs to finish the expert guitar tour...Flirtin w/disaster and ggaht. The solos kick my ass. What is the best way to tackle the solos in these songs? Do you use the high frets? Please, any help would be appreciated!!

Agreed, start up Practice mode and get right into those solos.

Try using the Solo Buttons to see if it makes it easier for you. If not, just stick to the normal frets and work on timing your hammer-ons & pull-offs fluidly. It'll take time, but it's worth it.

And be prepared for this to possibly take a long time. My boyfriend just beat GGaHT on expert for the first time on Sunday night, when he can 5-star (and gold star) most other songs on expert guitar. It took him almost 2 months to beat it, and we play Rock Band daily. Keep in mind that he played the ENTIRE song without the solo fret buttons though. Some people can't beat the song without those.

I don't even attempt GGaHT expert guitar. I know I can't beat it.

Run through the practice modes at 50% speed, and try to ramp up to 100%. Some people find that the high frets are easier, but it's all personal preference. Experiment with it and find what works best for you.

Also, maybe most importantly, save up your overdrive for the parts that are really giving you a hard time and try to ride it out. Good luck!

If you have access to a waterfall, you can try some awesome Ninja concentration excercises by sitting there for a few days.

thanx guys...I save my overdrive for the solos, but, the problem is, They are so long that it runs out B4 I can pull through. I have hit 82% on Flirtin and 91% on GGAHT ...(was extremely pissed both times about not making it) I am getting closer but boy is it starting to get frustrating..been trying both for about 3 weeks now..

Yeah...don't worry about it too much. I got the game the day it came out and GGAHT is still the only song I can't beat. I plan on throwing a giant party the day I actually beat it. Free booze, pizza, escorts, you name it ;)
