Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.......as much as I love that song, Ive heard it way too many times and so has everyone else. Plus its not very interesting to play (compared to other Zeppelin songs).
If were're going to have long songs in the game, they have to have something worthwhile in them, like Freebird's dueling guitar solos. Although Stairway has a nice build up, it doesnt really deliver anything special in the end.

The great thing about downloadable content is you don't have to download it if you don't like it!!! I am eternally grateful that these bands were not put on the original disc.

I can see Seether being added as DLC because they are doing that MTV2/Rockband tour with Flyleaf. I can also see Disturbed being added because there are plenty of people "Stupified" by their stupidity.

As far as the other three bands on the list, I don't think that HMX would ever add them knowing the credabilty that they would ultimately lose by doing so.

there are reasons why there are certain bands I do not want to see for DLC, 2 main reasons
1) I have younger friends who I go to their houses and play it, so even if I do not want to download sissy crap like green day and disturbed, they will, and then I have to play each of those songs 100 times, making me play songs i hate and over and over, making me hate them even more
2) If they can make it to DLC, they can make it onto Rock Band 2 or whatever, and I do not want to HAVE to play certain songs

Unfortunently, that seems to happen a lot on this forum. The average RB forum poster will use any opportunity to badmouth (insert band name here), likely because everyone else seems to be doing it. That, or because they truly think HMX will listen to their demands. ;)

With that, I really do not want to see Through the Fire and Flames on RB. While Dragonforce may or may not be fun to listen to while you're driving in your car, that doesn't mean they are at all fun to play in a rhythm game.

I think in a lot of these cases, people name the band because they really have never heard any of their songs and therefore couldn't name a song even if it was required.

Also, there isn't any song that I wouldn't want to see in this game.

If I really don't like it, I won't download it.

I think in a lot of these cases, people name the band because they really have never heard any of their songs and therefore couldn't name a song even if it was required.

Also, there isn't any song that I wouldn't want to see in this game.

If I really don't like it, I won't download it.

But in the case of the Paramore song, I didn't like it, til I played it.



Well not in my case. Dragonforce because I used to like them. Fall Out Boy because its always playing in my friends Ipod's and I had to listen to them. Same goes for My Chemical Romance and Panic at the Disco. Its only true about Nickleback but I dont even wanna listen to Nickleback.

Anything by AC/DC, and any obscure band. What makes this game fun is playing songs you know .... I'm not interested in indie street cred if I'm the only one that knows the music. Quickest way to get people to lose interest.

Heh - disney bands, weve had the Janiters so perhaps its just a matter of time before High School musical gets a run out on Rock Band DLC. Wouldnt mind Nickleback (the mrs loves there stuff) and even some rap...i mean does Cypruss Hill count as rap, them and other cross over bands like Run DMC wouldnt be all that bad....save for the vocalist RB players but then that hasnt stopped HMX bringing us Beastie Boys.
