right, but for a lot of people who can afford RB, they are most likely going to get both. If they have already played GH they most likely already have a guitar so they are going to only buy the GH3 game by itself.

The real poll should have been: are you going to buy the GH3 Bundle, GH3 game only, Rock Band or Both..

I'd have to say I'm more excited for rockband because of the instrument diversity.
it'd be amazing if they had a synth tho

Or Rock Band game only? I assume that RB would work with the GHII Xbox360 controller. That's what I"m thinking of doing with my PS2 anyway since I don't care about drums (for now anyway), and have 2 PS2 guitars and a USB mic already.

Rock Band isnt very popular yet. Only hardcore rockers (us) know about it. Everyone knows theres going to know about GHIII because of I and II

Rockband is losing because it cost 200+, its a group game only (cannot be enjoyed by yourself), and ofcourse lets not forget... its just a Guitar Hero ripoff.

Oh how incredibly uninformed and dumb gamers can be sometimes.

Actually, RB is losing to GHIII for one real reason... It's on the PS2. Most people I know havn't shelled out the cash for a next gen system yet, and if they did, they alreay had GHII on the PS2. Most people as not going to go out and spend the extra cash on a new controller if they already hve one or 2 sitting around. Simple ecenomics. Also if you count the I'm going to buy both option, RB is holding it's own vs GHIII even if it's not winning.
