LYNYRD SKYNYRD - Again, pretty much every single one of their songs has a great guitar riff and solo...and half of their songs would really be great for Rock Band...and they were already in GH2!?


THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND - they have at least 30 songs that would be great for Rock Band...Jessica was in GH2...so why aren't they in any other game?


The Outlaws - Have about 10 hits that would rock anybody's socks off...really is a shame that the game makers don't know much about music...or maybe they know the people buying their games have no frickin' clue.


Paradise City - Guns N Roses...I can't think of many songs that would be better for either Guitar Hero and Rock Band. It absolutely rocks and would be FUN TO SING.


Bohemain Rhapsody - Queen ...mamaaaaaaaaaaaa...ohohohooooooooooooooo


more Molly Hatchet...they have some really great songs, with amazing solos. - underrated band


Blind Melon - I can't think of a band that would have more songs that would be fun for the SINGER, well I can but Blind Melon would be real good...Not to mention the guitar work is pretty darn good/fun to play.

the guitar parts...it just seems like it's... chord, chord, chord chord x10...dif chord x10...back to the other chord x10 and then a 5 second "solo"...REPEAT x 20

It just isn't very amusing, or skillfull or good or anything

Eh, I'm pretty well versed in Lynyryd Sykynyryd, and I find them more or less inoffensive, but that doesn't excuse them from being almost a cliche as far as southern rock goes. I'm glad that some other bands are given a bit of the spotlight for once.

You guys can talk about something blowing all you want...but there are other folks who may think what you like blows. The point was to add bands in here that you'd like to see.

Personally, I say bring a good mix of all of it. I want some songs where you just have to play your a$$ off on guitar, some where it's all vocals, and some where the onus is on the drummer. And then you go back and add some more Metallica so that everyone feels the pain. ;)

I don't think the goal is for every song to be as difficult as humanly possible. Sometimes it's fun to play a song well regardless of the difficulty and to be able to play it together in this format is gonna be fun no matter what.
