Rock band controller question

Ok i have looked on numerous forums and never seen this question come up ANYWHERE. So if you have found it...then i guess i didn't look hard enough:rolleyes: . ANWAYS to get to my question...

I have heard many places where they say Guitar hero controller will work with Rock Band,But, they have never said if the Rock Band controller will work with Guitar hero.

I am, however, getting both games, but if one of my freinds, or I, want to play lead guitar for Rock Band, then he/she won't be able to play with the "Solo Buttons" i have seen a nd heard about, because of the lack of these special buttons on the Guitar Hero controllers.

Sorry for the long question, and thank you for your responses ahead of time :) .

No one knows yet. We know the X-Plorer will work with Rock Band but not if the Les Paul will work with RB or if the Strat will work for GH.

Legally I doubt EA/MTV and Activision/RedOctand would want that. I could see the press reporting it though. They have both final builds by now.

Yeah. And Sony and Microsoft share online servers and Bluetooth so RB can be truly universal!

Well the GH2 X Box controller works with the GH3 Demo, I think that really answers a bunch of questions there.
