yea the song seems fairly easy.on quick listen, i love it. sounds great.

also, this song is REALLY long. It has to be bonus, or the final song.

I'm just surprised they picked a Southern group that wasn't LS. I'm not disappointed though because the song sounds fun as hell.

I just don't think they would be suited for Bonus because they're actually known commercially. Whereas most bands in the Bonus list are usually just HMX bands or Homestar Runner stuff.

Ok I just finished listening to the whole song and I have no doubt in my mind that if this is not the final guitar song it will be the HARDEST one. It's VERY similar to Freebird minus the incredibly slow first five minutes or so. This is probably the song that Sean was talking about when he said Freebird 2.0. Well done, I did not expect this song.

I agree and just hope this is actually a Bonus Track. If Molly Hatchet, Coheed and Cambria and this were Bonus Songs, and not included in the 45 Main Set List songs. This would actually be a very strong and exciting set list... if they are on the Main Set List... then that's not going be that great in the long run for the singers, as the songs either have unique sounds vocally or virtually none, in the case of the Outlaws song. Great guitar and very freebird-esque. An outstanding Bonus song! :)

i never heared of the band before so i when to the wikipedia page and did some read up and i came across this quote

Well if it doesn't scream final guitar song I guess you were underwhelmed with Freebird? I'm not being defensive because I know people didn't like Freebird so that was a real question. I think the pick will turn a few people off because of the relatively unknown band but if I had to guess I would say it's 85% likely this is the final Guitar song.

Yeah that's understandable. Myself though, I enjoy the songs that build up to an epic climax so Freebird felt really good to play for me. I'm really happy with this song choice.

What is it with everyone and hoping the announced songs are Bonus? Correct me if I'm wrong but no major gaming site has ever announced a Bonus song. They've all been leaks from the bands themselves or videos from YouTube or something. My theory is they won't announce the Bonus tracks until all the Main Listers are out of the way and they're likely to announce them altogether. I know we all want more Main List tracks but it just seems like we're pushing for something that's not there.

Pretty awesome though....for the guitarist....Which, since I'm getting everything, and guitar is the only thing I know how to play on expert...is a good thing.

Here's hoping that with the remaining 6 songs and the bonus songs we haven't seen anything yet. This is definitely one of my favorite songs on the setlist now (gotta love guitar solos).

True but I guess somewhere a long the way they had to please the hardcore guitar audience. I mean there's enough drum heavy songs, and hard to imitate vocalists, but so few guitar-heavy songs. This evens it out with the whole 10 minutes and all. Can't complain about the bass either it's very fast and more than one note repeated.

also, it was stated (I can't remember where though) that in the who's "who's next" they left in the keyboard solo in the songs so there are moments where no one will be playing for like a min or so. Its all about the rocking band experience, not for the impatient.

Actually some dude a LONG time ago asked for GGaHT, but I haven't seen him in a while. I remember him because he asked about it a lot, and my friend's dad used to be in The Outlaws, but he died. No, seriously. He was a vocalist and guitarist, Billy Jones, died 1995.

I remember when he (my friend) told me, I thought, "wow, I know someone whose dad was in a pretty popular rock band!"

Well, I didn't know him personally, but like I said, he was my friend's dad. He (Billy Jones) died in 1995, before I knew his son. But yeah, I thought that was amazing when I met the son of a great guitarist from a great band, and he goes to my school :D
