i love guitar hero 1 and 2 but 3 doesn't have it.

i played 2 songs on the demo on the hard level.

they got the look and the sounds and such right, but note placement was a big letdown for me.
when there should have been powercords (say fret 3 and fret 5 ) you're holding down fret 3 and 4. when there should have been more than one button to press, it's only represented as one note.
what im saying is, harmonix was able to reflect how the notes would be played. it seems like this version, they are just placed on whether the pitch goes up or down instead of how it would "feel" on a real guitar.

to the regular gamer, you won't notice a difference. i tend to play by ear, and i noticed a difference. so, i won't even bother with guitar hero 3. i'm glad harmonix is making rock band.

that's my gh3 review. see ya

That's nothing... I play mostly with my nose.. I like to smell out the notes, and get a feel for them

I play by ass, no really. I put the strum bar between my crack and do a little "ghetto shake" when I need to play fast notes. As for holding down the buttons I just use my hands like normal people.

I don't even want to know how you use the whammy bar.

I won't tell you what part of my body uses the whammy but I will let you know it involves a lot of swaying furiously back and forth.

You reviewed a full game based on 2 songs on a demo... on HARD difficulty?

How in the world can you even think about trying to give a REVIEW off a DEMO?You can't, you have to at the very least have the finshed product.
You don't have to like GH3, nobody cares anyway, but giving an amature review befor the game is even released is just RIDICULOUS.

This thread is ridiculous. You played two songs on the demo, your only complaint was of questionable chord placement, and you are writing off the whole game? How does this make sense?

Alot of people are mad about the notecharts. Some of them are really really bad.
