Bass in solo tour

I really think they should add to wear you can select if you want to do lead or bass then be able to go back from lead to bass cause you can only do bass in multiplayer which sucks some people want to be bassit in solo tour with out having more people to do it with.

That's an awful idea. One of the biggest complaints about characters is that they can only play one instrument, and you want to force people to have even more characters? It'd be a better idea to just make any character able to change to any instrument at any time. I want my drummer to be able to play bass, guitar, and sing too.

Well in reality the Bass player is typically the Bass player and that is it.
However I agree that you have a better idea providing that it does not limit the amount of characters.
In reality there are very few people that can play a verity of interments equally well but then it is a game and not reality.

Well also in the game most people can't play all of the instruments equally, everyone always has a strong point (admit it, your not godly at em all)

But back to the actual topic, I don't think that a bass tour would be a good idea (I know, kill the lead player), because bass is only a simpler form of guitar (in this game ONLY, I know it's very diferent in reality) so all it would be doing is adding in a second tour that's easier, if you want a bass tour, just go on lead at a level lower (this may hurt your ego, but just don't tell your friends who mock you cause they kill lead), and I know your all just poised and ready to try and pick me apart, so bring on the fire.

Are you guys seriously discussing this? When was this thread started? 2007? Ever since the game came out people have been talking about the lack of a bass solo tour. Just let it go and stop beating a dead horse. They're going to have it in RB2.
