How do I get silver or gold circle?

I've been playing solo on expert guitar/drums. I have a lot of money but no change in my circle displaying the instrument.

How do I get the silver or better like some people have?

Gold = completing the Endless Setlist on Hard
Platinum = completing the Endless Setlist on Expert

There's literally dozens of threads already that explain this. Please use the Search function.

What do you mean by endless setlist? I'm playing all areas in order and I just opened Los Angeles.

I'm on expert. When will it end (hehe)?

Endless set list is in Moscow. You have to get throught the Hall of Fame first.

By the way.....you only get the icons in Band World Tour and not in you solo tour. I didn't know which one you are playing.

The Endless setlist is all the on-disc songs, located in Moscow and is online avaialble in Band World Tour. It takes almost 5 hours if you dont fail any songs and there are no breaks.

its kinda annoying when you are a platinum artist playing online and some wimpy (jk) gold artist comes in and eveeryones like "OMG HOWD YOU GET THAT GOLD THINGY!!" but o well, its just a silly game anyways. :D

The problem is I searched for "gold platinum circle" and I get nothing back!

The manuals suck that come with the game.

I love the game. I wish we could import our own music with like an SDK or something and make our own expert modes cause I'd be making you hit 4 tabs instead of 3 at times!

You can play Band World Tour solo if you can manage two instruments at the same time. How's your singing while playing drums/guitar?

There's a secret mode - if you play through any of the solo tour modes 10 times and gold star each song sequentially...at the end of the 10th run through you'll unlock the final stage where all the silver and gold icon circle thingies will be waiting for you!!

not to be rude, but get over it, the game wasn't meant for one player and if you want the icon so bad then learn to sing on expert (jk, that sucks and wastes too much time)

lol I hate that. I've got platinum on guitar and vox, going after drums as soon as I master RTTH and I Get By. those are the only two I can't pass consistently

The name hints you are playing in a RockBand. Doesn't mean it requires you to have 4 players.

You know how solo mode works so it seems it should be possible to get silver or gold yourself!

Doing the Endless Setlist in Band World Tour to get the new icons does not require you to have 4 players either. You can do it with 2, or 3, or 4.


You know how solo mode works so it seems it should be possible to get silver or gold yourself!

As others have already said, it is possible to get it yourself. If you can play guitar or bass or drums and sing at the same time.

Um, not sure how this works. I got a "Gold Circle" around my drum icon after completing RttH (the last Hard song I had to beat in Solo Tour mode). My gf and I have unlocked the Unending Setlist, but she refuses to play it. So we have never done that, but completing Hard Solo Tour gave me a gold drums icon.

PS3, if that matters.

I believe you are mistaken. Completing the solo tour doesn't change your icon. But it does give you a golden drumset (on stage in the game). Completing the bonus songs gives you a silver drumset.

No one ever mentions that because it's wrong. :) You can't play the Endless Setlist on Easy.

But you can play it on Medium, which will give you the Vinyl (inverted) icon.

Sorry, but I'm not mistaken. My drummer definitely has a golden drum icon (a gold ring around the drum symbol), and I have never played the endless setlist. It appeared as soon as I completed RttH, and by doing so, completed the Hard Solo Tour.

LOL Weirdly, my "gold ring" seems to have stuck there! It's permanently on there. Must be a glitch of some sort! I assumed it was for completing the tour, but the timing must be coincidental. It's still there now!
