I've been re-reading (well, skimming would be the better choice of word here) through Max Brooks World War Z again.

I'm halfway through my 20-somethingth read of "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead". It only takes an hour or so to read, so it's like fast food for the existentialist mind.

Bram Stoker's - Dracula. This is one of the few books that I have had to buy several copies of from wearing out the spine reading it too much. lol:cool:

I'm reading Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. Just a few more chapters to go. Not as exciting as I hoped it would be, but it is pretty good.
He gave away the plot twist a little too soon though. Now I just want to finish it because there's nothing left to find out.....as far as I know.

after reading his short amount of works i'd have to say dan brown is pretty bland. it seems as if he's written the same book over and over. i can excuse the langdon-series for doing that, but digital fortress and that other book are all basically the same thing.

I haven't read anything in a while... so the last thing I read was either a novel one of the following three authors (and, it'd be a re-read): Kurt Vonnegut, Hunter S. Thompson or Chuck Palahniuk (portland, yo).
I just realized that two out of those three died recently.... :/ Seriously, best authors of our time.

I recently got into the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. Right now I'm on Sourcery.

H.P. Lovecraft's "The Unnamable". Short story. Not one of his best.

I just finished my 4th re-reading of Improbable by Adam Fawer. I love that book. I'm probably going to start reading 1984 after I finish To Kill a Mockingbird (I have to read TKaM for my English class).

How do you like it? I read the first 10 pages (to preview it) and I thought it seemed interesting.

idk. i thought it was a good book that was too preachy. maybe it had to do that i started "reading for funz" with simpler books like dan brown and **** so the whole metaphorical **** wasn't really interesting to me

I'm not really into preachy books too, but my friend said I should check it out (along with Dune, which I haven't read yet), and he has a preety good taste in books, so I'm going to give it a chance. (Run-on sentences galore!)
