I can't find anything by King Crimson on iTunes, just covers. Why is this? I can't find any CD's either and I don't steal music from bands I like.

Some bands just don't give iTunes the rights to distribute their music. You won't be finding The Beatles or Frank Zappa on there, either. My suggestion is to just buy the CD at a store. It's easier to find King Crimson than you might think.
Edit: Well, for Zappa, there is a small collection CD and covers, but nothing else.

The nearest record exchange, Wal-Mart and Taget don't carry King Crimson. Where did you get your CDs from?

I've seen them in places like Borders and Best Buy(unfortunately the closest places I can buy CDs from since the Relapse store closed). If you can't find them there, you can always use Amazon.

Okie dokie. The Borders nearest to me (about 30 mins away) has an entire floor dedicated to music so they'll probably have it.

If I may also give you some recommendations, I have a few. In the Wake of Poseidon is a great album. Red would probably be a excellent album choice too. Although to start out, definitely check out In the Court of the Crimson King.

I listened to the title track on Youtube and it's one of the best songs I've ever heard.

In the Court of the Crimson King is my fav. by them, In the Wake of Poseidon is great too, but try Discipline also, it doesn't get the credit it deserves, Lark's Tongue In Aspic too
and they will never be on itunes cuz tho Robert Fripp isn't human but a force of nature, he is also a major dick

What makes you think that?
But if he is we'll just have to wait for the old git to die off then. *snicker*

Both of those would piss me off too, but that is a bit uptight.

Not to mention they aren't popular enough. King Crimson probably haven't even sold 1,000 albums.

Alright, I'm not one to argue Rockbandfan, but that is BS. King Crimson's first album reach 3rd on the British charts at the time and is certified gold in the United States.I don't think a mere 1,000 albums would do that.

There are artists and songs on iTunes far more obscure than King Crimson. They've also never gone out of style (even though it could be argued that they never were in style :p). It's always been cool to like King Crimson. They've never sold out and have always been underrated and underappreciated.
And the album sales thing is bull****.
