So, who here has played the GHIII demo... with their 360 controller?

I've managed to get 98% notes hit on The Metal on medium... but that's it, ladies and gentlemen.

I haven't download it yet, but when I do this weekend that is what I'll be doing, I look forward to trying to get good enough for expert, so then I can get that stupid achievement right away once the game comes out.

But I can't believe there's actually a friggin achievement that requires you to play through an entire career mode using just the controller.

I played the demo with my GH2 guitars. I think the game is great. I'm so looking forward to it.

Seems like there should be a happy medium between GH3's which are difficult/stupid, and RB's which appear to be a little on the easy side.

Yea I had to,don't have a 360 guitar. Best I did was 99% on Rock You Like A Hurricane on medium.

I thought Rock you like a Hurricane was more challenging on Expert.

But anyway I tried with a controller and its terrible. The triggers throw your timing off because of the travel from idle to fully pressed. Its bad. The ps2 one was fine.

best I got on Expert was 96% with Even Flow, I got 100% on RYLAH on Hard ...

I got stuck using the controller playing with my friends at the local game store so I became pretty good using it...although The Metal on Expert still was a problem because of teh softer part was difficult.

Really the achievements for me are more of a you get 'em when you get 'em deal...I don't really TRY to get them all that often...

Finally got it, and it is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I really need time to get used to the button placement. So far the best I can do is 4 stars on Medium, hopefully by the time the game comes out I'll be able to do expert with the controller.
