For those that haven't heard of them, check out any of their four albums on iTunes. They classify themselves as the #1 Party Rock band and it's true! Any songs from any albums would be awesome to play in Rock Band.

Electric Six lyrics:
I've got something to put in you,
I've got something to put in you,
I've got something to put in you,
At the *** bar, *** bar, *** bar.
Wow! (Shout out loud)
This is epic win.
EDIT: This forum censors a word that rhymes with hay, starts with the letter 'g', and means happy or homosexual. Or both.

Strange that you pick that song out of 4 albums worth....... ;) probably not a great GH song to play. I was thinking more about Riding on a White Train, I'm the Bomb, Rubber Rocket, I Buy the Drugs, or for a strong guitar song, Jimmy Carter. They are easily better than 90% of the "extra" unlockable songs from GH1 and 2.

I'm not even going to give them a listen and I can already tell you that this statement is false.:D

Did anyone notice the Electric Six reference in the female clothing shop?
There's a jacket called "The Dance Commander" and the description says something like "Give out the order for fun in this little number"..or something like that.
There are a lot of musical references in the clothing shop, not all of them related to groups that would be good for the game, but it gives a little hope if Harmonix is well aware of the band and references their lyrics. Nice one Harmonix.
Here's hoping!

Nothing beats the video for their cover of Radio Ga Ga.

I went to the store / to get more FIYAH! / to start the war!
I just discovered this last night. Fun times!
There are some awesome E6 songs that would work out great for DLC.

Electric Six definitely needs to be in this game. I can understand how some people wouldn't like most of the bands I listen to, but Electric Six is the sole exception. In the years since I discovered them, all but one person who I've let listen to them has loved them, and the only reason that one guy didn't was because he refused to like anything that wasn't metal.
And yeah, I saw the Dance Commander outfit in the female shop and it made me extremely happy. The only outfit I liked more was the Arockalypse outfit that was a nice Lordi reference. They're an awful band, but somehow very catchy.
Some of their best songs with regards to Rock Band would be:
Dance Commander
Improper Dancing
I'm the Bomb
When I Get to the Green Building
Rip It
Rock and Roll Evacuation
Bite Me
Dance Epidemic
Be My Dark Angel
Slices of You
Germans in Mexico
Pulling the Plug on the Party

Oh yeah, and for anyone who wants to see the majesty that is Electric Six, you can watch videos from their first three records here:

The best one is clearly *** Bar by a substantial margin (hell, it's one of the best videos of all time), but the videos for High Voltage and Radio Ga Ga are pretty good too.

Hehe. I love Electric Six, though the last album I didn't care for, everything else is great.
How about Naked Pictures (of your mother) or Getting into the Jam. Boy Or Girl would be good too or Slices of You

I enjoyed their new album. I thought it showed a bit of maturity in the band, like they were actually evolving a bit. However, they evolved in what I felt was an appropriate direction given their first two CDs (which means they kept the wacky and ridiculous lyrics), unlike their changes in Switzerland, which, for the most part, I thought were a little off (although Slices of You and Germans in Mexico were both fantastic). Switzerland just didn't rock enough for my tastes, basically.
A lot of their songs would be really fun in Rock Band. I just hope Harmonix throws us a bone and puts at least one of them in, maybe even a three pack (or more...I'd buy any E6 songs they put up, especially if they are master tracks).

Down At Mcdonnelzzz is a good song no doubt, but it's mostly synthesizer and keyboard, so it's not too suited for Rock Band.
