No need to be rude. . . . .this is my first time blogging and I was just wondering if anyone had enought rhythm to play an R&B tune or two.

lol, nice childish jab (and terrible spelling/grammar). R&B is decent to listen and dance to (If you're into that), but that doesn't mean it should be played with Guitar and Drums. If you'd like to give an example of an R&B song you think would work well in Rock Band feel free to post it, otherwise generalizing it by saying just R&B... that has no place in 'Rock Band'.

And when I think R&B, I think true Rhythm and Blues. None of this Usher, Babyface, etc.

Now THAT is rude. Are you saying that rockers not of the black persuasion have no rhythm? Better re-think that post.

And why do you have two posts with the same idea?

Yo in all honesty i just saw Jill Scott afew weeks ago live and she played with a live band. It would have fit perfectly into rock band but some dont like it and that is their opnion. To be honest a little r&b would be a nice addition to the game by r&b i mean artist like india arie, Jill Scott, Raheem DeVaughn, Donnell Jones and many more neo-soul artist But poppy r&b wouldnt work

You mean enough rhythm to play the same basic beat over and over for the entire song? Personally, yes. Would I want to? No.

And fyi, this isn't a blog. This is a forum.

There's not really much of a point to a duplicate thread like this, so I'm making it my first post-vacation lock. That does mean it's extra sunny, if that's any comfort to you.
