I can't change my sig/avatar/etc. says I need a different log in? help?

(just set up acct. today.)

I clicked the link (to edit your profile, click here) I do so. and even though I'm logged into the forum (hence my post here) it says "only an official member can access" my profile edit page.

You're what we call a "Phantom Member". You don't have any confirmation, but you can still post. Some other people here are like this. Like rev0lver and jq. You'll just either have to live with it, or make another account and hope for a good email.

It happened to me with the first account I created, so I made another one and dumped the old one.

But like Akaymay says it's up to you.
