So,I'm not usually inclinded to make such topics as I feel they very rarely produce any real results. However,I feel I'd be doing an injustice towards Sonic Youth if I didn't.
Whilst severely disappointed with the end results of the Doolittle dlc(and believe me,I'm a fan of the group),I think an attempt at more Sonic Youth might turn out better.
I for one would love to see a number of tracks available for dlc; Teenage Riot,Dirty Boots,'Cross the Breeze to name but a few.
Sure, time could be 'better spent' on other more popular dlc requests, but lets face it - it's all a matter of opinion and preference, and I believe that since Sonic Youth are present in the original setlist and that they actually have a considerable fanbase then maybe they are worthy of more releases.
Again, not sure how this will help but you never know, maybe a member of HMX might come across the topic in passing and something might come from it. One can hope.

I think Teenage Riot would be awesome for Rock Band
I really don't think that Kool Thing is anywhere near their best, and that's what a lot of people base their knowledge of the band on.
Maybe a three pack with
Teenage Riot
Incinerate
Silver Rocket
would be pretty fun, and something that the casual listener would like

I do think its a shame that most people around here only know Kool Thing, because I don't think its even close to being among Sonic Youth's best material. I'd be pretty happy with a pack containing Pink Steam, Pattern Recognition, and I dunno, anything awesome off of Daydream Nation.

My pick is Chapel Hill. A lot of others would make good songs, too, though.
