Manchester, Lancashire, England = teh best city in the world. The people are nice, the food is good and has the best china town in Britain, as well as hosting my footy team, Man City. Its a good working class town which isn't trying to snob its way up and neither is it being like a dodgy council estate. AWESOME! :P

I'm sorry but you all lose...

I live in Chicago which is clearly the best city in the United States... Sure it's not as big as New York City or Las Angeles (only a little smaller) but it's much cleaner than New York and Las Angeles and is definitely the more beautiful city of the three...

Having been to New York I can tell you it's dirty and for the most part the people are jerks (at least from my personal experiences)...

Chicago on the other hand has some of the finest restaurants, bar, night clubs and other places you can visit... Architecturally wise it is far superior to any city in the United States I've ever seen... and the city at night is something everyone should witness for themselves as well as the view from the Sears Tower... But the people are what makes the city and the people here are great to say the least...

So everyone should come to Chicago... I'll give you the grand tour... we'll go to the friendly confines and get some Deep Dish :D

I live around San Francisco, truly the greatest city in America.

On the plus side, we have the best overall weather in the country, very liberal views on lifestyles, clean air great music and restaraunt scenes. We are responsible for the development of the personal computer as a mainstream tool We are responsible for the home video game system and turning the Intrnet in to the phenomenon it is.

We have the highest average of educated workers, the highest per capita earnings by household in the country. We have (between Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose) The Giants, A's, 49ers, Raider, Warriors and Sharks.

We are close to the Napa valley, the best wine producing area in the country.

On the down side, it hella expensive to live here.

That is all, bow down in submition to the Bay Area and weep in your inability to match up.

Nebraska does suck, but Daesania, I thought I recall you giving me some flak for saying that one already a few months or so ago.

Chicago does have a kickass skyline, because that city had a fantastic city planner.

I'm not a fan of California at all... Most of my family is from the La Habra area. I just can't stand the people, mainly. Especially my relatives.

I think, ultimately, the big loser in this thread is Canada. :P

Portland, Maine, represent!

All we got going are Stephen King, lobsters and pine trees. And if you've been watching the news, we also give out birth control to six year olds or something.

Tool masters their albums at a studio here in town, although I've yet to bump into any of the band, regardless of staking out the building.

Oh, and we're close to Canadia, even though some may call that a bad thing. I love our flannel-suited neighbors, you can smoke just about anywhere and they have the best weed!

I live in Borlänge, Sweden. We've got some sucky pop-bands that are relatively known over the world, like Mando Diao and Sugerplum Fairy. We also have Kupolen, the biggest mall in our state.
We also host the Peace & Love festival once a year. It's grown quite big, last year Iggy & The Stooges and Alice Cooper played there, along with some of my favorite badns like Meshuggah and Behemoth.
Also the coolest people in Sweden just tend to live in Borlänge.

Isn't Dallas like the fattest city in the US or something? Anyway I live in a little town called Norco (which is an acronym). It stands for "New Orleans Refining Company. It is a little bit out of the way of New Orleans (like 30 min drive)which really sucks because I hear rap all day long then they have the REALLY high crime rate. I don't like Louisiana anyway, everything is sinking into the ocean. Yeah I want to move (I'm from New York anyway, by Utica).
